announced that Indian jewellers will be allowed to sell hallmarked gold artefacts

▪ The government has extended the deadline for mandatory hallmarking of gold
jewellery and artefacts by over four months till June 1, 2021

compulsory hallmarking in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

▪ The second edition of National Strategy for Financial Education (NSFE): 2020-2025
has been released. The first edition of NSFE was for the period 2013-2018.

education in the country. The ‘5 C’ approach of the strategy includes:

named ‘Ek Sankalp – Bujurgo ke naam’ (‘a commitment for elders’), to take care
