Living with Sylvia’s story My life has been similar to that of Dennis. I nursed my father for eight years who had Alzheimer’s, so I have first-hand experience of what DEMENTIA it's like to care for someone with dementia and how to handle them. "Like Dennis, I was also diagnosed at 79 with Alzheimer’s. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia.
