The IEX – Insulation Expo Europe is the leading European trade fair for insulation companies,

building service planners, plant manufacturers, architects, energy commissioners and facility
managers. Around 200 exhibitors present the full range of materials, machines and processing
options for heat, cold and sound insulation.
TO IEX – From 2020 the IEX – Insulation Expo Europe will be held at the same time as FeuerTrutz, the leading
trade fair for preventive fire protection in Europe. In future, the visitors of each event will be able to
find out about the related topics at the other fair.
INSULATION The core business of the IEX visitors – the insulation of technical installations in industry
and construction projects – very often touches on preventive fire protection requirements, which

are creating ever new challenges for the insulation technology industry. Conversely, FeuerTrutz
visitors will in future be able to obtain more detailed information about insulation technologies,
materials, machines and processing options. Both sides will thus be able to exploit significant

synergies for their own events. Together, the IEX and FeuerTrutz will bring together more than
450 exhibitors and 12,000 visitors. For the first time, IEX and FeuerTrutz are being held
simultaneously at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre from 24 to 25 June 2020. The IEX will
occupy Halls 6 and 7.
