ATTIVITÀ PRIMA DELLA VISIONE DEL FILM

                   Esercizio 1: Summary plot
                   Put the following sentences into the right order.

 A. During the night Sid, a very talkative sloth, is left behind by his mates but nevertheless
     he decides to go south by himself.

 B. Diego, one of the tigers that attacked the humans, meets Sid, Manny and the baby and
     he decides to join the group to lead them to a place where his pack can ambush them.

 C. When a humans' winter camp is attacked by a pack of tigers, a woman is able to save
     her baby by jumping into a river.

 D. As glaciers are slowly covering the earth, all kinds of animals start emigrating to the
     south to seek a warmer climate.

 E. During his journey Sid is rescued by Manny, a mammoth who is going to the north,
     and he decides to follow him.

 F. Before drowning, she hands the baby to Manny and Sid and the two animals decide to

                      What's the difference between «She's gone» and «She's been»?

           To do this exercise you must watch Chapter 6 ("Salvare il bambino") in Italian with
           English subtitles. Then watch the sequence once again in English with English
           subtitles. Make sure you focus your attention not only on the words uttered by Sid,
           but also on what the woman does.
