 Graduation Day

⦿Saturday, May 29, 2021 @ 7:30 P.M.

◼Please read the instructions thoroughly,
 as there will be no practice for this
 event.

GRADUATION CEREMONY
  Saturday, May 29, 2021 @ 7:30 P.M.
⦿Doors open at 6:30 P.M.
⦿We encourage full parties to arrive
 together.
⦿Students must arrive no later than
 5:30 pm. to check in. Be on time!
 Gym doors will close promptly at 5:30
 pm.

Tickets and Entry
⦿The event is limited to 12 guests per
 graduate. Graduates may seat 8 guests
 on the home side and 4 on the visitor
 side.
⦿Tickets will be provided for pick up at
 the campus on Friday, May 28, 2021
 from 9-12

ATTIRE: COMFORTABLE
⦿Your attire under your robe must
 be comfortable and appropriate.
⦿Wear appropriate shoes to walk
 on the turf on the field.
⦿Do not use high heels.

WEARING YOUR CAP AND GOWN
⦿Your cap should be level and the
 tassel goes to the left at the start
 of the ceremony.
⦿Your gown should be zipped up all
 the way to the top.
⦿Caps are to remain on your head
 for the entirety of the ceremony.

Graduates, do not bring any
of the following items:
⦿Chewing gum          ⦿Banners
⦿Cameras              ⦿Backpacks
⦿Noise makers         ⦿Beach Balls
⦿Purses or Handbags   ⦿Water guns
⦿Laser pointers       ⦿Air horns
⦿Silly String         ⦿Sunglasses
⦿Floral               ⦿Balloons
 arrangements

 If you have to ask, don’t bring it!!

Bags and Purses
Per stadium regulations:
⦿No bags or purses will be
  permitted into the facility.
⦿No mesh bags or clear bags of
  any size will be permitted into
  the facility.

LINING UP FOR THE PROCESSION
⦿Restrooms will not be available
 from 6:45 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. or
 later.
⦿Stop drinking liquids after 6:30
 P.M.
⦿Please find your seat in the gym
 upon arrival.
⦿Remember who sat next to you in
 the practice.

WALKING ONTO THE FLOOR
⦿Keep pace with the other
 graduates and the teacher.
⦿Don’t show out. Please be
 respectful of others.

WHILE THE CEREMONY IS GOING
ON…
⦿Pay attention to the speakers.
⦿Listen for the cues of when to stand and
 sit.
⦿Please put away electronic devices during
 the ceremony.
⦿Stay awake.
⦿Sit up straight in your seats.

AS YOUR NAME IS CALLED
o   Make sure the caller knows how to pronounce
    your name if it is difficult.

o   Approach the stage at a normal pace, and
    remove your mask.

o   Take the diploma cover from the table on the
    stage. Walk to the center of the stage. Stand on
    the X.

o   Then put your mask back on and return to your
    seat.

BE RESPECTFUL WHILE
ON STAGE…
⦿Please do not show out on the
 stage, you may celebrate
 appropriately for the event.

AFTER EXITING THE STAGE
⦿Please remain seated until
 you are cued to rise with
 your peers by the teachers at
 the end of your row.

REMEMBER
⦿This ceremony is a
 culmination of 13 years of
 hard work.
⦿Please respect the other
 graduates’ recognition.
⦿Enjoy the day.
⦿This is a ceremony for over
 600 students.

Graduates Exiting the Stadium
 ⦿Graduates must remain for the
  entirety of the ceremony.
 ⦿At the conclusion of the
  ceremony, graduates will be
  dismissed by the mariachi.
 ⦿Let your guests know that you
  will leave the field from the
  home side.

CURBSIDE DIPLOMA PICK UP
⦿Friday, June 3, 2021 - In the
 Judson High School gym from 9:00
 A.M. –11:00 A.M.
⦿If you were removed from the
 ceremony for any reason, you will
 not receive your diploma on this
 date.
⦿Remember to follow social
 distancing guidelines and wear
 your mask while on campus.

Graduation Guest Guidelines
Guests are prohibited from bringing the
following:
⦿Signs of any kind
⦿Purses or bags (clear and mesh bags
   included)
⦿Noisemakers
⦿Flowers
⦿Confetti
   *Baby essentials in clear ziploc bags only.

Graduation Guest Guidelines
⦿Parties must sit together in the
 stands
⦿Masks will be required for
 everyone entering the facility.

Services and Concessions
⦿Water will be the only item
 available for purchase for guests.
⦿Water will cost $1 per bottle.
⦿Cash only.
⦿Please have exact change.
⦿Restrooms will be sanitized
 continuously.

 Elephant Walk- wear your cap and gown.
