shopping has become a lifeline for many of us. They explained the
different types of postal services and recognized that the workers
engaged in postal services bear the overhead sun and lashing rain
to deliver letters and couriers on time through the year. Not only
harsh weather, they have to carry weight as well. While giving
clear details about why Postal Day is celebrated, they even
appreciated the active role they played in transporting COVID-19

enlightened their audience with „Types of Chocolate and its importance‟
and listed out the „Countries Famous for Chocolates‟. Speeches on
Chocolate Day and a few facts about chocolates by students of classes

the fact. Students from Class 1 onwards were made aware of what
paper is and they explained in their own words the need for paper
bag usage. The students from the middle school aimed to spread
awareness about using paper bags instead of plastic to help reduce
plastic waste that take thousands of years to decompose. They
demonstrated how paper bags can be made of natural and
biodegradable materials. They explained to the audience that these
are made from renewable and raw materials that are recyclable and

but also their way of living. Celebrating Nelson Mandela Day

speeches by story-telling, students from Classes 6 to 10 honored their

parents play in everyone‟s lives as they protect, teach, provide, and
serve as role models. Parents play a vital role in the lives of children
as they look to them for guidance and mirror their behavior and learn
to be a core part of our communities. It was indeed a proud moment
for the parents when the children praised them for bringing them up
as independent thinking individuals. We may celebrate Father‟s Day
and Mother‟s Day but the students displayed great pleasure in
commending their parents as a whole for all the things they are doing
