          communities.!
    •     Libraries!provide!opportunities!for!community!education!and!information!sharing.!
    •     Urban!and!infrastructure!planning!functions!can!promote!environments!for!
          physical!activity!and!access!for!people!of!all!ages!and!abilities.!
    •     Environmental!health!functions!and!services!such!as!immunisation!are!important!
          for!providing!safe!environments!and!controlling!infectious!diseases!in!our!
          community.!
    The!‘Living!Well’!Plan!seeks!to!recognise!and!build!upon!the!current!activities!of!the!
    Cities!of!Unley!and!Mitcham!which!influence!public!health!and!wellbeing.!The!Plan!

    The!system!of!public!health!planning!by!State!and!local!government!in!SA!is!one!that!
    allows!for!‘continuous!improvement’!with!each!five!year!planning!cycle.!Council!Public!
    Health!Plans!cannot!address!all!public!health!issues,!rather!they!are!a!first!step!to!
