From Friday 2 April until Tuesday 6 April, kids get free entry at ZEALANDIA Ecosanctuary and can participate in a special
Easter treasure hunt. This event is fun for the whole family and allows children to connect with nature and native wildlife. As
well as an entertaining day out, families also have the chance to win some cool prizes on the day, including one year of
ZEALANDIA membership!

WATERSIDE KARORI AFC SWIFTS GIRLS PROGRAMME 2021
We are looking for girls aged 8-12 to join our girls only Swifts Talent Centre team here at Waterside Karori AFC.
Women’s football is growing rapidly. There are pathways to the United States university system through soccer scholarships,
the Wellington Phoenix is currently building a W-League women’s team, International Womens’ clubs are gaining more clout
and funding, and the 2023 Women’s World Cup will be hosted here in Aotearoa New Zealand. For a bit of perspective:
Viewership for the 2019 Rugby World Cup: 54 million
Viewership for the 2019 FIFA Womens’ World Cup: 1.12 billion
We are excited to invite and welcome girls to come out to our Swifts Programme at Waterside Karori Football Club. Girls will
get access to two trainings a week led by Kaley Ward, game day coaches, and fun, quality, challenging sessions. We are

KELLY CLUB APRIL HOLIDAY PROGRAMME
Kelly Club Holiday Programmes focus on giving children aged between 5 and 13 the opportunity to do things they enjoy in a
safe, supportive and encouraging environment.
This programme are packed with activities to entertain and inspire children. We have some exciting days planned: Trips to:
"Frosty Spot" - Ice Skating, "Strike"! 10 Pin Bowling, Maidstone Park & Avalon Park., Plus: Kelly club's Got Talent Day,
Legendary Lego Day, Out of This World Day, Anzac Day and lots more!!
Kelly Club Holiday Programmes are held at the following venues: Churton Park School, Westpark School, Amesbury School,
Kelburn Normal School, Wests Rugby Clubrooms (upstairs) Wilton, Island Bay School.

FOOTBALL MORNING HOLIDAY PROGRAMME with Head coach Gaston who is a "Senior player in the Wellington United
Football Team" and a Kelly Sports Ref and Coach!
(Yrs. 1–8) Wests Rugby Clubrooms, Wilton (all weather indoor surface).
Children aged between 5 and 12 can come along and improve their technique, knowledge and skills. We will focus on the
core skills of control, dribbling, passing, tackling and shooting but MOST importantly having as much FUN as possible!
Week 1 - Tues, Wed, Thurs 9.30am-12.30pm, Week 2 – Tues, Weds, Thurs 9.30am-12.30pm

NETBALL HOLIDAY PROGRAMME – NORTHLAND MEMORIAL HALL with Bianca Nagaiya - "Currently in the National Netball
League for Wellington" & "Former NZ Secondary Schools player"
Come along and grow your child’s confidence at the Kelly Sports Netball Holiday Programme.
Years 1-4 - Learn the basic fundamentals of netball in a fun and engaging environment. Learn the key skills and
understanding of the game, ball handling, co-ordination, speed and accuracy.
Year 5-8 - For those already playing 7-a-side netball and those wanting to get a head start and advance their technical and
tactical knowledge of the game.
We use fun drills and games to develop and challenge young players focusing on the key skill areas for their level of
development while also having fun!
Week 2 ONLY - Tues, Weds, Thurs 9am-12pm.

KELLY SPORTS WINTER WARM UP SPORTS! – TERM 2
Kelly Sports will be back in Term 2 with their fun and exciting classes.
Years 0-2 - Monday’s 3.05pm-4.05pm - Your child will learn the fundamentals of all sports – throwing, running, jumping,
striking, balance and many more. We includes fun games & drills to build these skills.
Local Community News - Karori Normal School
Years 2-4 – Monday’s 3.05pm-4.05pm - Come and try Football, Netball, Basketball and Rippa rugby (2 weeks of each
sport!). It’s a great way to try new sports, learn new skills and improve ability.
We use games & drills to teach game sense and team play.
