                                                                 and fastest answer and one prize each for one correct and fastest answer was won by :
                                                                 Saroj Shah, Neelam Jalan, Pradeep Biyani, Nisheeth Totla, Rashi Mehta, Raakesh Jain,
                                                                 Dharampal Ajitsaria and Bhawna Shah.

                 The concept of Zoom Antakshari by the Mahanagarians on the evening of
                 22nd March was a blow of fresh air amidst the present gloom, panicky and
                 scary atmosphere. Conceptualized by Jyoti Mahipal, Pranay Agarwal, PP
                 Deepak Choudhury and our own RIPN Shekhar Mehta the online game
                 show was enjoyed by one and all.
                 It was my first experience of any online game and it worked so beautifully.
                 The game was initiated by PP Deepak Choudhury and later was handed over
                 to RIPN Shekhar Mehta who anchored the show to the fullest entertainment
 of all the participants. As always our scorer was Rtn. Naresh Jalan and he did a splendid
 job.
 Congratulations to the winners and heartfelt thanks to the organizers. Feeling proud to be a
 part of this enthusiastic Club.

Report of RWM 1262 held on 20th February

                  On 20th February, our RWM was held at HHI. We had three eminent guests speaker who came from
                  Medica Hospital. Mr. Rion Das, Mrs. Preethy Alexander and Ms. Pamela Pradhan or all of them shared
                  their expertise and enlightened us with the crucial role that Physiotherapy plays in the restoration and
                  upkeep of human body.
                  We were shown pictures of our body parts and were informed how to maintain and restore our muscular
                  Skeletal System in order to lead a healthy, strong and agile body. After listening to them we all had an
                  interactive session of few queries and finally we all knew that it is very important to maintain a healthy
                  body to do our everyday duties and aspirates in respective of our age.                    By Geeta Mehra

        Free Spectacles Distribution
On 25th February Rotary Club of Calcutta
Mahanagar organised Free Eye Check-up camp at
Bhowanipore, Kolkata in association with
Bhowanipore Kansaripara Sitala Mata Mandir
Committee. On the day around 50 patients were
checked. President Rtn. Vinod Mahipal &
Secretary Rtn. Ashok Agarwal were present for
hands on service.

Teachers Training Camp                                                  Discover Pranic Healing
On 20th& 21stFebruary, Rotary Club of Calcutta
Mahanagar organised a two days teachers'
training camp at Rotary Sadan. A total of 22
teachers participated from 15 schools. This
training camp was inaugurated by PP.Rtn. Raakesh
Jain, Mrs. Sarla Totla and Rtn. Anoop Kedia on 20th
February.
On 21st February certificate distribution
ceremony was done.

                                                                      On 23rd February a Pranic healing camp was held at
                                                                      Haldiram's by GMCK light workers along with Rotary
                                                                      District 3291. The concept of Pranic healing was
                                                                      explained by Neeraj Jain. He explained that it is
                                                                      healing of the energy body without touch and it is an
                                                                      alternative therapy and can be done along with other
                                                                      medicines and therapies. After this, most of the
                                                                      members went to individual healers and got their
                                                      respective healing done. It was truly a spiritual morning.

Women's Day Celebration

                  On 8th March, Women's Day was
                  celebrated at Hotel Swagat ,
                  sponsored by Rtn. Rajendra
                  Makharia. Detailed information
                  about 'Mahila Diwas' was given by our
                  President Rtn.Vinod Mahipal in his
                  inaugural speech. A beautiful poetry
                  on Nari- Shakti was narrated by
PP.Rtn. Sanjay Dugar. Mrs Pramila Dugar in her
encouraging speech said that 'Nari' are even more
powerful than Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh.
Mr. Surendra Kumar Agarwal in his shayaris also added
that wife should be given highest respect in our day to
day life. Mrs.Ritu choudhury finally entertained all the
members with different games. At the end the members celebrated the birthday of Shivesh, son of PP.Rtn. Rajendra and

                                                              hundred Rotarians with spouses from Nine Rotary
                                                              Clubs with our DG Rtn. Ajay Agarwal and his gracious
                                                              wife Mamta Agarwal were listening to one of the best
                                                              motivational speaker of India- Sneh Desai. He
                                                              mesmerised the gathering with his ultra positive and
                                                              powerful Aura and taught the process of '7 STEPS TO BE
                                                              RICH'. An unbelievable S-M-A-R-T Technique to achieve
                                                              your goals, because the impossible says, I'M POSSIBLE.
                                                              Rotary Club of Calcutta Mahanagar not only organised
                                                              this excellent joint meeting of Nine Clubs and invited an
                                                              internationally acclaimed guest speaker but also
                                                              celebrated the birthday of our President Vinod Mahipal.
                                                              I hope we all have considered ourselves to be lucky to
                                                              have attended this event. Looking forward to attending
                                                              many more such events by our club!

Shishya, the literacy venture of Rotaract
Club of Heritage Institute of Technology
just became-Rotaract Outstanding
Project Award finalist for 2019-20 among
600 nominations for “sustainability,
innovation and collaboration”. Rotary
International recognized this as one of the
best projects in all of South Asia.

                                                                                         During this period (25.02.2020 to
                                                                                         04.03.2020) our Club carried out one Blood
                                                                                         Grouping Camp and registered 28 SOS
                                                                                         donors for our Bloodline. Camp was
                                                                                         conducted at 'Mita Foundation' Santi Nagar
                                                                                         P.O.-Panchpota.Garia, Kolkata on 1st March
                                                                                         2020. We also met need of seven patients.
