PSR News | Welcome Kristie Zwiener
We are so blessed to welcome Kristie Zwiener as our new Embark Junior High Volunteer Service
Coordinator. Kristie has been very instrumental in planning and organizing our service days this year.
It was her idea to engage our students once a week for a day of service, and she has worked hard to
find meaningful projects for our students.
Kristie has been a parishioner at Saint Ambrose since 2013 when she moved to Brunswick with her
family. Kristie and her husband, Fred, have two boys, Landon and Logan, who attend Brunswick City
Schools. The boys have been involved in Journey with Jesus, Littlest Angels Preschool, Saint Ambrose
PSR and Embark Junior High Youth Ministry.
Kristie has been a fourth grade catechist at Saint Ambrose for the past two years, as well as an active
member of the Crestview Elementary PTO. She enjoys yoga, running and reading, and watching her children play hockey.
She feels very blessed to be a part of the Saint Ambrose Community.

Music Ministry | A Note from Travis Jurgens
Dear Members of St. Ambrose,
I am very excited about the renewal of the music ministry and am
so grateful for the singers and instrumentalists who are joining
and returning to the ministry. Look for more information soon
introducing the new members. In the meantime, here are some
highlights to listen for:
4:30 pm Masses: Flute, small choir; Handbells once per month
9:00 am Masses: Small choir, violin, and guitar; Angel Choir once per
month
10:30 am Masses: Small choir and band (including drums, guitar,
and bass)
5:00 pm Masses: FIAT band (more contemporary), including guitar,
drums, bass
We will also be having two cantors during some Masses to sing
duets and harmonies.
I’m also very excited to announce an upcoming livestreamed
concert that I will be conducting:
On Friday, November 13 at 7:30 pm, the Perrysburg Symphony
Orchestra proudly presents “Romantic Serenades” - the String
Serenades by Dvořák and Tchaikovsky. These composers both
wrote during the Romantic period and are well known for their
beautiful sweeping melodies and lush harmonies. Tchaikovsky
wrote that he composed his serenade "from inner conviction...It is a
heartfelt piece and so, I dare to think, is not lacking in real qualities.”
Enjoy a romantic evening at home as the PSO conveniently
livestreams these popular works directly to you. Buy your tickets
here: https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/42287. More

WEEKLY PARISH BULLETIN - November 8, 2020 1112 Days of Christmas | An Easy Way To Make a Difference
Are you looking to do something meaningful this Advent Season? Our 12 Days of Christmas
Ministry adopts individuals who are in need of a little extra of God’s love, care and kindness this
season. During the 12 Days leading up to Christmas, we need volunteers to “adopt a family”
and help deliver these random acts of kindness. It’s simple... it’s fun... and most importantly, it’s
significant in the life of someone in need! We provide the gifts, the address, everything you need,
you just deliver them to the families.
We know this year has been beyond challenging for so many reasons… help spread the
Christmas joy to those who are hurting this season. Also, if you know of someone who
may need some extra joy and care throughout the season, please let us know. Contact Lisa at
LHomady@StAmbrose.us if you are interested in helping or have someone you would like to add
to the list. What a wonderful opportunity to give back and be reminded of the TRUE reason for
the Christmas season.
