Liga MX
The Liga MX is the top level of the Mexican football league system. Currently sponsored
by BBVA, it is officially known as Liga MX BBVA.
Each season, the league holds two tournaments: the Apertura, which starts in the
summer, and the Clausura, which starts in the winter. Starting Apertura 2019 (July/19)
the league comprises 19 clubs. The first 8 teams in the table at the end of the regular
phase of the tournament qualify to the liguilla ("mini-league", or "playoff").
Fridays evening, Saturdays and Sundays UD Radio air home games of the most important
teams that compete for the trophy each season. America, Atlas, Cruz Azul, Leon, Lobos
Buap, Morelia, Necaxa,Pachuca, Puebla, Pumas, Queretaro, Tigres,Toluca & Veracruz.
The Tournament ends with Campeón de Campeones a single game contesded by the
regular winners of Apertura and Clausura, that regularly takes place in middle July.

Copa MX
The Copa MX is undergoing another makeover. and the cup competition will now run
for the entire 2019-2020 season, rather than being split into an Apertura and Clausura
edition.
Starting July 30th,the group stage will feature a total of 27 teams – 15 teams from Liga
MX and 12 from Ascenso MX – divided into nine groups of three.
Sixteen teams will advance to the knockout rounds beginning
Janueray 21st /2020 – the nine group winners and the seven best
runners-up – which will consist of home-and-away series; if the
aggregate score is tied, the winner will be determined by
penalties. Away goals will not be tiebreakers, and no extra time will
be played – the series will go straight to a shootout.

Mayor league soccer 2019
Major League Soccer (MLS) is a men's professional soccer league organized by the
United States Soccer Federation. MLS includes 24 teams—21 in the U.S. and 3 in
Canada and constitutes one of the major professional sports leagues in both countries.
The regular season runs from March to October, with each team playing 34 games
distributed in two conferences: Eastern and Western.

Concacaf League 2019
Scotiabank Concacaf League is the official club championship for Central
American and Caribbean clubs – expanded to 22 teams to include five additional
Central American clubs and one Canadian Premier League club for 2019 and
beyond.
The competition now serve as the qualifying tournament for Central America clubs
to the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League.

A New Competition for All of Europe
The UEFA Nations League launched in September/18.
The 55 nations affiliates to UEFA, were split into four ”leagues." The strongest nations
are in League A, and the weakest in League D.
UEFA wanted more sporting meaning in national team soccer with the increasing
opinion that friendly matches were not providing adequate competition for
national teams.
The event also features promotion and relegation for future editions. At the end of
the group stages, those who finish bottom of the groups will be relegated to the
league below and four teams will be promoted to the league above.
The top four teams in League A will play in the new “Final Four” next June 2019 to
determine the inaugural UEFA Nations League champion and the first qualifiers for
UEFA 2020.

The Road to the Euro 2020 Tournament
The UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying tournament determines the 24
nations that will advance to the UEFA Euro 2020.
There are 55 national teams participating in the qualifying
process, with Kosovo taking part for the first time. There is no
automatic qualifier, and each of UEFA’s member nations will have
to earn their place at the finals.
Historical Rivalries: The Euro Qualifiers will pin huge rivalries
throughout the qualifying process, such as Sweden vs. Norway,
Austria vs. Poland, and Switzerland vs. Denmark.
Top Team’s Redemption: The Netherlands, and Italy, both
legendary teams from the region, upset fans around the world by
not qualifying to the FIFA World Cup in 2018. They will have to
rebuild and prove themselves during the EURO Qualifiers.

The Best of Europe
The UEFA Euro 2020 tournament is the most prestigious European
National Team football competition.
Governing body UEFA has decided to stage “a party all over Europe”
to mark 60 years since the inaugural tournament and, for the second
time in history it will feature 24 teams to find the true king of the old
continent. The tournament will likely feature national powerhouses
such as England, Germany, Spain, and France.
Portugal is the defending champion, having won the 2016 edition.
Marketers take note:
• Across the Continent: Matches will be held in 12 cities in 12 different
countries. London, Baku, Munich, Rome, Amsterdam among others.
• Highest-Level International Competition: European National
teamshave won the last four World Cups and have some of the
