                                         Entries & Payments

• Entries are to be received on or before the 20th February.

• Entries will be taken in all sections on the day, but a penalty will be added for entries that are
   late, UNLESS the sections only take the entries on the day and only these sections will
   have no penalty added.

• Tickets are to be produced to the Gate Person, otherwise you will be required to pay to
   enter. So do not forget your tickets, there will not be refunds given.

• All entries must be printed clearly.

• All entry forms must be signed.

• ONLINE ENTRIES will be available through Equestrian Entries at www.equestrianentries.co.nz
Alternatively entries will be accepted through post or email using the entry form supplied.

• Payments can be made via Internet Banking - BNZ Morrinsville account number: 02-0368-
   0024297-00 and you must put your name.

DAIRY GOATS
ENTRIES CLOSE 20TH FEBRUARY. LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY WILL BE ACCEPTED WITH A LATE
ENTRY FEE AND YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY A GATE ENTRY IF THERE IS NOT ENOUGH TIME TO GET YOU YOUR
TICKETS. WHICH IS NOT REFUNDABLE.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
All exhibitors must be registered with NZDGBA, Premier or Anglo Nubian of New Zealand.
All exhibits must be led and tied up.
Does in milk must not be milked out before they are judged, (except in the second part of the best uddered class).
Does will not be penalized if it is found necessary to ease their udders before or during judging owing to their udders becoming
overstocked.
Judging, all entries must be ready for judging by 10.00 a.m.
Standard minimum show Schedule for Herd register and associated records for Dairy Goats.
All entries must comply with the Rules of the Royal Agricultural Society of NZ and the Rules and Regulations of the NZDGBA for
exhibiting Dairy Goats.
Prizes: 1st $10, 2nd $7, 3rd $5
ENTRY FEE: $6.00

The second place getter in the class which the Champion was selected to be paraded with the other first place
getter for selection of the Reserve.

Class 704 Herd Register Grand Champion Doe
Open to any Doe which has obtained her Grand Champion status

NO award will be made if there is no competition.

CHAMPION CHALLENGE
To be selected from the winner of Class 704 and the Champion Doe.

Class 706 Associated Record Doe in Milk under 3 years

Class 707 Associated Record Doe in Milk 3 years and under 5 years

Class 708 Associated Record Doe in Milk 5 years and over

CHAMPION ASSOCIATED RECORD DOE
To be selected from the first place getter in classes 706 - 708

RESERVE CHAMPION ASSOCIATED RECORD DOE
The second place getter in the class which the Champion was selected to be paraded with the other first place
getter for selection of Reserve.

Class 710 Associated Record Grand Champion Doe
Open to any Doe which has obtained her Grand Champion status

To be selected from the winner of Classes 710 and the Champion Doe.

Class 712 Senior Progeny: 2 Daughters in Milk of same sire
Two Daughters in milk of same sire but different Dams. Registration number and name of Sire and names of
Dames to be given on entry form

Class 713 Dam and Daughter
Dam and one or more Daughters Judged on the Dams worth as a breeding Matron

Class 714 Herd Register Type and Production 1
Rules as per NZDGBA regulations

Class 715 Associated Records Type and Production
Rules as per NZDGBA regulations

Class 716 Herd Register Best Udder
Open to all who have borne a kid. To be judged when full and again when stripped out. Points awarded for both
full and empty udder, to be totalled to determine the place getters. Does maybe eased before judging and must be
stripped prior to entering the ring for the empty udder judging.

Class 717 Associated Records Best Udder
Held in the same conditions as in class 712

Class 718 Junior Show Person
For young persons of 15 years and under. To be judged on exhibitors ability to lead, place, turn, stop and start
their goat. To answer two questions. Show preparation and appearance of exhibitor and goat taken into account.
Exhibitors age to be included on entry form plus their grade, (bronze, silver, gold, advance).

Class 719 Junior Herdsperson
15 years up to 25 years showing an adult goat. To be judged on presentation and knowledge of the anatomy of the
animal also the handling and health of the adult goat. Does not have to belong to the exhibitor.
