The advanced training Workshop on Mucogingival Microsurgery is an
interactive course, powered by lectures, focused hands-on training with
operative microscopes and 3D video demonstrations. It aims at clinicians
wishing to upgrade their skills in the application of high-quality
mucogingival surgery for root coverage and soft tissue handling. The
course consists of an integrated approach designed to build and extend the
skills of the practicing periodontist in the area of microsurgery.

- Key notions on flap management and wound healing
- Understanding the concept of microsurgery
- Learn all about the operative microscopes
- Learn all about micro instruments and materials
- Learn the clinical application of an operative microscope

the sites in the oral cavity
5. Soft tissue manipulation and wound healing
6. Management of soft tissues for root coverage

- The Coronally Advanced Flap
- Bilaminar techniques (CAF + CTG)
7. Surgical sequence when working with a surgical
microscope: how to modify the conventional approach

7. Reconstruction of the CEJ for root coverage and
management of root concavities
8. Post-operative care following periodontal plastic surgery
9. Strategy for root coverage: presentation of clinical flow charts
