New Titles AUTUMN 2019 - David and Charles
We’re delighted to be issuing our first catalogue
as a newly independent publishing company,
                   David and Charles Ltd.
Earlier this year we completed a Management Buy-Out of the former
F&W Media International UK books business. It was entirely fitting to
return to the name under which the company was originally founded,
David and Charles. We are excited to continue with the innovative,
niche publishing synonymous with our name.

The featured titles in these pages give you a flavour of the type of
publishing you can expect from David and Charles. Modern Crochet
Bible is a brilliant, comprehensive technique book that builds on our
strengths in publishing category dominant titles. Knit Like a Latvian -
Socks is the perfect follow-up to the hugely successful book of last year.
Quilts from Tilda’s Studio celebrates the exquisite fabric design by Tilda
creative force, Tone Finnanger, and Journal with Purpose could not be
more on-trend and is already setting pre-order sales alight.

We will be building on these books and the other featured titles with
a growing list and ambitious publishing plans as we look forward into
2020 and beyond. Throughout, our aim is to continue developing the
relationships we have with domestic and international retailers, foreign
language partners, authors and the wider industry.

Ours is an open and collaborative approach and we welcome any
feedback, contact, ideas and discussion of opportunities for great books
and increased sales. Feel free to contact me on the details below or talk
to any member of our team.

We look forward to working with you.
                              Best Wishes,
