Ennis-Flint traffic safety products
help save lives, prevent injuries and
reduce vehicle crashes worldwide
When it comes to roads, motorways, airports, hospitals, schools, and
any other place along our routes in life, we don’t always think about
their construction or the science behind how they work—we just
expect them to.

That means every country, government, contractor, architect and
engineer needs the right tools to ensure the communities under their
watch are protected by high-quality, well thought out infrastructure
that keeps them safe and the world running smoothly.

That’s why every Ennis-Flint product and application has the quality
to deliver safety, reliability and clarity—regardless of the project. 3

Coloured
              Markings
Ennis-Flint offers several product technologies, in a variety of colours, to promote clear under-
standing of a dedicated-lane’s purpose to shared-roadway users as well as decorative trafficscapes.
Unique in application and performance, these technologies are ideal for streetscape and lane
treatment projects where shared roadway safety and aesthetic appeal must work in conjunction.

     › Preferential-lane colour treatments
These treatments increase the lane’s visibility, identify potential conflict areas and promote the
dedicated lane’s purpose to shared-roadway users (commonly cycleways, bus lanes and pedestrian
         shared walkways).
Materials applied over large-area markings must be formulated to expand and contract with the
substrate and changing temperatures, otherwise they can crack or delaminate from the surface.
Longlife Cold Applied Plastics are an ideal choice and combine state-of-the-art methyl methacrylate
(MMA) resin compound with hardwearing aggregates and premium pigments. This extremely
durable, highly visible and colour stable lane delineation treatment can be specified to meet the
non-slip requirements for New Zealand and Australian roads.

     › TrafficScapes
TrafficScapes products include Preform Thermoplastic and coloured area markings. These products
are engineered for durability, safety and aesthetics. TrafficScapes products are designed to:
         • improve safety, especially at intersections and multi-use paths
         • enhance visibility for pedestrians, motorists and cyclists
         • channel pedestrians across busy commercial parking areas
         • promote and/or revitalise community image.
