The new PDL Pro Series - clever, strong, easy

The first range of hard-wearing switches and sockets
designed to meet the needs of commercial buildings
       - PDL Pro Series is raising the bar in commercial
       wiring devices.

Designed with extensive feedback from the electrical industry and available in both black and white,
Pro Series offers a variety of functionality and clever features which makes planning, commissioning
       and installation quick and easy:

       • Circuit identification labels visible and protected behind a clear 9mm window

       • Easy fit-offs and removal - skins click on easily and cannot be removed by hand. Special notches
on the skins allow for simple removal with a screwdriver

       • Durability and robustness - low positioned sockets are exposed to knocks from equipment in busy
premises, Pro Series standard sockets include IK08 impact rating

       • Building management is made easy using the 40 Series C-Bus modules

       • Fully compatible with 300 Series modules which can be used for both Pro Series and the Iconic range

As with the award winning residential PDL Iconic switchgear range, Pro Series offers the advantages of
Iconic including the locking bar, wrapper terminals, pre-fitted captive screws and requires just the
       square drive screwdriver for installation.

I

   PODCASTS
The best podcasts out there have one thing in common:
you can listen to them no matter what's going on around you

                                  Why Won't You Date Me?
We've all asked ourselves that, haven’t we? Hilarious host Nicole Byer spends
each episode of ‘Why Won’t You Date Me’ talking about modern dating, including
conversations about apps, open relationships, matchmakers and more. Yes, it is
                                  raunchy.

   The Sporkful
It not for foodies, it for EATERS.
There are plenty of food podcasts out there, but ‘The Sporkful’ is the pièce de la
resistance. Creator and host Dan Pashman approaches ‘food from many angles’,
including Q&As with chefs and restaurateurs, the role that culture plays in eating,
scientific notes, thoughts on identity and more.

Rabbit Hole – the New York Times
What is the internet doing to us? The Times tech columnist Kevin Roose discovers
what happens when our lives move online.

Kīwaha - Give it a go
Kīwaha/Give it a go …a chance to learn a few super simple sayings in te reo Maori
that you can use in your everyday conversations.
Kīwaha are colloquial sayings or slang and they are great phrases to drop into your
everyday conversation even if you are speaking English. We also have examples of
more formal proverbs or whakataukī which illustrate how beautiful and poetic the
Māori language is. You won’t learn how to speak te reo Māori by listening to this
podcast series but you learn some great phrase you can use in everyday situations at
work or at home. Karawhuia – Give it a go!

LIGHTEN UP

          Two grandmothers were bragging about
their precious darlings. One of them says
to the other, “Mine are so good at social
distancing, they won’t even call me!”

Did you hear the joke about
                     coronavirus? Never mind, I don’t
                     want to spread it around!

My mum always told me I wouldn’t
accomplish anything by lying in bed all day.
But look at me now! I’m saving the world!

Day 121 at home and the dog is
looking at me like, “See? This is
                    why I chew the furniture!”

Nail salons, hair salons, waxing centres
and tanning places are closed. It’s
about to get ugly out there!

What’s the best way to avoid
                        touching your face? A glass
                        of wine in each hand!

Who’s idea was it to sing “Happy
Birthday” while washing your hands? Now
every time I go to the bathroom, my kids
expect me to walk out with a cake!

My husband purchased a world map
and then gave me a dart and said,
“Throw this and wherever it lands
             – that’s where I’m taking you when
this pandemic ends.” Turns out, we’re
spending two weeks behind the fridge.

If I keep stress-eating at this level,
the buttons on my shirt will start
          socially distancing from each other!

Ran out of toilet paper and started
using lettuce leaves. Today was just
the tip of the iceberg, tomorrow
                romaines to be seen!

If there’s a baby boom nine months from
now, what will happen in 2033? There
will be a whole bunch of quaranteens!
