Each Unit has agreed to the following Statements pertaining to the
2021 Atlanta Area Council Popcorn Fundraiser.

  •   I understand that a representative from my Unit must attend an Atlanta Area Council Popcorn Kickoff
      and a Trails End Webinar in order to receive bonus commissions.

  •   I understand that someone from my unit must pick up all ordered product on time.

          o   Show and sell pick up will be on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Take Order pick up will be on
              Saturday, November 13, 2021. Contact your District Kernel for location and time.

  •   I understand that 80% of our unit’s sale must be logged through the Trails End App to receive bonus
      commissions.

  •   I understand my Unit must pay the Atlanta Area Council the full amount Due to Council on the Popcorn
      Invoice by Thursday December 2, 2021 to receive bonus commissions.
          o Payment must be made by cash or check payable to the Atlanta Area Council and delivered to the
              Program Center by December 2, 2021, or post marked, if mailed, by December 2, 2021.

  •   I understand someone from my Unit must place all earned $750 Club prizes through the google form by
      Thursday December 2, 2021.
          o The $750 Club prize this year is not intended to be an instant recognition for Scouts that reach this
              level.
              $750 Club prize can be picked up from the Program Center as soon as the Atlanta Area Council
              announces receipt of shoe fulfillment. This prize cannot be ordered in the prize system. This prize
              may not be available for order after Thursday December 2, 2021. The Atlanta Area Council is not
              responsible for incorrect shoe sizing due to user error. There are no refunds or returns on the
              shoes. All shoe orders are FINAL!!

  •   I understand each Scout in my Unit must have their Show and Sell Dollar Amount and Take Orders
      entered in the Popcorn System under Scout Tracking.
          o Scout Tracking will be used to determine and award Top Seller Prizes including bonus Amazon Gift
              Cards for $1,500 and up. Additional training on using Scout Tracking in the Popcorn System will be
              available after each Kickoff.

2021 Popcorn Sale Commission Structure

   Show and Sell / Take Order Commission Structure (Popcorn Sales runs from July 1, 2021 thru Dec. 2, 2021)
   30% - Base commission
           1. Sell popcorn. Receive 30% commission on all Show and Sell/Take Order
              - Example: $10,000 (Show and Sell/Take Order)
                      o $10,000 x 30% = $3,000 (kept by unit at time of Sale)

   + 5% - Base commission plus:
           1.   Attend a Council Popcorn Kickoff
           2.   Attend a Trails End Virtual Webinar
           3.   Ensure 80% of unit sale logged through Trails End App
           4.   Pay popcorn balance to Atlanta Area Council by 12/2/20
                - Example: $10,000 (Show and Sell/Take Order) + complete items 1, 2, & 3
                       o $10,000 x 30% = $3,000 (base)
                       o $10,000 x 5% = $500 (part of the single additional commission check sent to
                           Committee Chair by February 28)
                               ▪ $3,000 + $500 = $3,500 Total back to Unit

   Online Sales Commission Structure
35% Commission
      1. Sell popcorn online. Receive 35% commission
         Example: Sell $1,000 online: $1,000 x 35% = $350 (part of the single additional commission
             check sent to Committee Chair by February 28)

Popcorn Pickup Vehicle Size Estimates
 Every Unit that orders Popcorn will need to pick up that product from a local
warehouse. Your District Kernel will send out detailed information including the
 address of the warehouse where your Unit’s product must be picked up and
                       what time it should be picked up.

        Pick up for Show and Sell orders will be on September 11, 2021.
             Pick up for Take Orders will be on November 13, 2021.

              Bring enough vehicles or trailer to take entire order.
                         (Multiple trips not allowed).

  • Mid-size car (backseat, trunk, etc.): - About 15 cases

  • Small SUV (ex: Jeep Cherokee, Honda Pilot) – About 30 cases

  • Mini-van (folded down/removed seats, rear cargo, etc.): - About 50 cases

  • Large SUV (ex: Suburban, Explorer): - About 60 cases

  • Pick-up Truck (reg. size): - About 75 cases

  • Small Trailer (5’ X 8’) - About 150-200 cases (including space in the tow
    vehicle)

Fall 2021 sale. The bearer of this letter is a volunteer in good standing with the Boy Scouts of America
Atlanta Area Council. He/She has permission from the Boy Scouts of America Atlanta Area Council to sell
popcorn for Fall 2021, as well as permission to lead the popcorn sale efforts for their unit.
