and GSCV program staff. When girls join the GAB ranks, they will outline their leadership
goals for the year and work one-on-one with mentors to achieve them. GABs will also make
unforgettable memories as they bond with girls their age across the Commonwealth. Active
GABs will easily earn their Service to Girl Scouting Bar and hours of community service for
school or extracurricular awards.
Girls interested in becoming a GAB should email gshelper@comgirlscouts.org with the
subject line “GAB Application.” The email should include the girl’s name, grade, primary email
contact, a list of three personal or professional goals they are working toward, and a paragraph
on why they want to be a GAB. Girls are invited to apply any time throughout the year.
GABs will be invited to spend the night at camp during overnight program weekends to help set
up activities and meals. We can’t wait to grow with you!
