and Aubrey Hornsby | Hornsby Real Estate

The week starts off with a new, never-before-at-the-Club
event. “The Witching Hour” will take place in the wee
hours of October 24, starting at 2 AM with a tour of the
Club, then a séance conducted by Janet Amid at 3 AM,
followed by a continental breakfast with champagne
mimosas until 5 AM. Yes, that is correct— AM, as in ante
meridiem. After that, the Club will be decorated and ready
for Halloween.
Next is the children’s ”Trunk or Treat” party on
Wednesday, October 27. Kids arrive in costume at 5 PM,
and cars in the parking lot will be decorated and treats
passed out at each trunk. There’ll be games, prizes, face
painting, a picture booth, pumpkin decorating—something
for everyone!
As always, the week ends on Saturday night, October 30,
with the Adult Halloween Party, a long-standing tradition at
the Club. The décor will be even more intense, and there’ll
be dancing, monster munchies (included in the cover price),
a costume contest, and special spooky cocktails at the bar.
Astrologer Janet Amid will be on hand to do astrological
readings for a small fee. It’s the best atmosphere in the city
and a cover price of only $18 per person (with the munchies
included in the price) — it’s such a deal it’s almost scary.
Guests are welcome, so bring your friends. The party starts
at 8 PM and runs until midnight.
Think about hosting your own event during the week
and take advantage of the atmosphere, sure to impress
your guests. There are still a limited amount of days
available during Halloweek for your own event. Just
contact Kathy in the catering office if you’re interested. Eileen in costume

It’s customary for my family to start making a prop or two during the
summer months. We turn one of our garages into a workshop to create
anything from coffins to a horse-drawn Victorian hearse. Currently I am THE WITCHING HOUR

to build a shed to store all of our props and décor. Now it holds only half
of the props and décor—we outgrew it!
So, as you can see, I LOVE Halloween. It’s fun to share our enthusiasm Trunk or treat
