Take a walk with your Travel Director to the faithfully-restored Hills Homestead and Wangarra Lookout, which
affords panoramic views over Wilpena Pound. Journey through the historic town of Quorn to Port Augusta. Visit
Wadlata Outback Centre before dining at a local restaurant.

you’ll encounter. This afternoon’s journey takes you to Kata Tjuta, thirty-six magnificent domes of red-hued
sedimentary rock.

Mon 29 Jun 2020          Day 9 - Uluru – Kings Canyon
Travel through a stark red desert landscape to awe-inspiring Kings Canyon. The 6-kilometre walk around the rim of
the canyon will reward you with marvellous views of Watarrka National Park. A shorter, more relaxed walk takes
you along the sandy creek bed, and leads to a lookout point affording excellent views of the towering canyon walls.

Fri 10 Jul 2020         Day 20 - Alice Springs – Coober Pedy
After breakfast this morning, as we pull into the middle-of-nowhere stop at Manguri, a friendly guide awaits to whisk
you away to the remote opal-mining capital of the world, Coober Pedy, where more than half of the residents live
underground. Venture into the tunnels and caves of the town, visiting the otherworldly underground Serbian
Orthodox church. The famous Coober Pedy Golf Course is the only course in the world boasting reciprocal rights
with St. Andrew’s in Scotland. Enjoy a gourmet lunch in a unique underground location before setting off to the
stunning outback moonscape of the Breakaways Conservation Park.
