• Referee panels. Based on experience and performance. This will aid
  with appointments.
• Where possible, keep the same team of officials together for a period
of 2-3 weeks. This could be repeated at a later date to help with
  progression.
• As we progress introduce an assistant referee panels, particularly for
junior referees coming into senior football.
Senior Referees
• Could use Ref/LIVE for senior football for both referees and clubs!!
Mentors
• Training. Both theory and practical.
• Previously the role has been made difficult and boring by the over
  emphasis on reports and assessment.
• Communication with coach as to the progress of referee performance
and experience will confirm referees position on relevant panels.
• Long term view will be to retain greater number of referees by the
  support given by mentors.
Match Day Game Plan

• Public relations!!
• Handling dissent.
• Dealing with behaviour from the bench!
