WOODRIDGE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION
SPRING/SUMMER 2021 YOUTH BASEBALL REGISTRATION
We would like to start the baseball season in April as we normally do, but we realize we may
need to be flexible on start dates depending on the pandemic.

In the past, we have held in-person registrations, but because of the recent spikes in COVID
cases, we needed a different approach. WAA has added an online registration feature that
is now open. Our new online registration system is simple to use, but if you have any issues
or questions pleas feel free to contact us. If you prefer, you can mail-in your registration by
downloading our mail-in registration form (located on the website).

Included in the baseball registration fee is our Raffle Ticket Fundraiser. You can sell the raffle
tickets and recoup $100 of your registration cost. Raffle tickets will be handed out to team
managers this year to distribute to players in April. We
are planning for the Raffle drawing to occur at our June board meeting.

We will be looking for managers and coaches at all levels so please volunteer if you are able.

SPRING CO-REC YOUTH VOLLEYBALL
This program emphasizes fundamentals, skill development, teamwork,
sportsmanship, and fun. At this level, participants play on age-
appropriate nets and use softer volleyballs. Everyone is guaranteed
to play an equal amount of time because there is no substitution
(substitution is on rotation). Practices are one hour long and held
one day per week on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
or Friday from 5-9 PM. Practice times are selected by the volunteer
coaches who will contact players following the coaches meeting
in March. Scrimmages are played once a week and will take place
between 11:30 AM-4:30 PM on Saturdays. All players must wear gym
shoes and will receive team t-shirts. Anyone interested in helping as
a coach or assistant coach should mark that down on the registration
form. All participants must preregister, including those whose
parents are volunteer coaches. Grades may be combined if there
isn’t enough enrollment in one grade. Face coverings must be worn
while participating. Each participant will only be allowed to bring one
spectator to the scrimmage due to current DCEO guidelines. Early Bird
Fee until 3/1; Regular Fee after 3/1. Registration Deadline: March 19.
