More life.
More time.
More facilities.
More friends. More options. More fun.
To experience university life fully, nothing beats living on campus where you can enjoy
convenience and a sense of community. Our on-campus accommodation sits at the
heart of university life and is just a short walk from teaching rooms, labs, our library,
sports facilities, students’ union and a fantastic range of eateries, allowing you to
make the most of your study and leisure time.
Whatever subject you or your friends are studying, your lives will
revolve around our single-site campus, which just keeps getting
better thanks to our continuous programme of investment.
Even though our campus has the laid-back atmosphere of a leafy,
secluded site, it’s actually located in a vibrant, student-orientated
area – only two miles from the city centre. That brings an extra
dimension to your student life as you explore everything Hull has
to offer.
It’s easy to feel at home here, and it tends to happen quickly.

                                  Why the campus feels like

Starting university is a big adventure but
we know that it can also feel pretty scary
too. It’s natural to worry that you won’t
know anyone but our accommodation is

University accommodation isn’t just for individual applicants
though, we have plenty of options for group bookings too.
Perhaps you already know people starting uni at the same time
as you and would like to live together? Or maybe you’d like to
stay living on campus in your second and third years with all the
amazing friends you’ll meet when you arrive? From shared flats to
townhouses, we can accommodate groups of 2 to 11, giving
you the opportunity to stay on our vibrant campus for your
whole time at university if you wish.
All of this is manageable through our easy online booking system

We recognise that postgraduate and PhD students have different needs to undergraduates. That’s
why we dedicate a proportion of our accommodation in Westfield Court (page 16), The Courtyard

students. Reserved postgraduate accommodation includes standard and deluxe en-suite rooms,
studio apartments, rooftop apartments and townhouses. Rooms are typically self-catered and
operate on a 50 week contract.

Around the University
Just 10 minutes’ walk from the University (and the majority of our accommodation) is the thriving,

After your first year
University accommodation isn’t just for first years. You can apply
to live in our accommodation the following year, or for the full
duration of your studies.
You can apply to live with a group of friends in our houses, flats and halls, and continue to enjoy all
the benefits that living in University accommodation brings: location, community and quality living.

     Affordable
Don’t be fooled into thinking the private sector is cheaper. Once you add on utility bills, internet
services, contents insurance and the extra weeks rent that come with longer contracts, things really
start to add up.

        Live with friends
There are loads of options available for friends wanting to live together, from new on-campus flats, to
student houses and halls of residence. You’ll each have an individual tenancy and we won’t hold you
jointly liable if one of your friends doesn’t pay or decides to leave.

     No nasty surprises
We never charge an admin fee and there are no scary credit checks.
Once you’ve settled in, gotten to know your housemates and people on your course, and know
where you’d like to live and who with, we’ll be happy to chat with you about your options.

AT HOME IN HULL | 43
