This document describes the standard scope of provisioning of SuccessFactors solutions and
how many tenants are provisioned in Preview and Production environments, as of July 2020.

SAP SUCCESSFACTORS STANDARD PROVISIONING PROCESS
The SAP SuccessFactors solutions with the standard provisioning process include:
   1. Employee Central
   2. Compensation
   3. Performance & Goals
   4. Succession & Development
   5. Recruiting Management
   6. Recruiting Marketing
   7. Recruiting Posting
   8. Onboarding
   9. Learning
   10. Workforce Planning
   11. Workforce Analytics
   12. Validated Learning
   13. Jam

In general, products are provisioned with two (2) tenants:

   • A Test tenant in the Preview environment.
   • A Productive tenant in the Production environment.

Onboarding, Employee Central and Validated Learning have different provisioning set ups as
further described below:

Onboarding
As of January 7, 2020, Onboarding 2.0 will be the default for Onboarding in
the tenant creation process. Please note the exclusions that apply:

• Existing customers are unaffected
• Additional test tenants for existing customers are excluded.

Customers who wish to implement 1.0 after this change would need to create a support ticket
with component LOD-SF-OBX. For more information please refer here.

Employee Central Exception
Employee Central is provisioned with three (3) tenants:

                                                                                          3
• A Test tenant in the Preview environment.
   • A Productive tenant in the Production environment.
   • A third Development tenant in the Production environment.

As of July 20, 2020, when Employee Central, core HR option is purchased, a Development
tenant will also be provisioned for the following products, provided the customer is licensed
for them: Performance & Goals, Compensation, Succession & Development, Onboarding,
Recruiting, Workforce Analytics, Workforce Planning, Learning, Validated Learning, and Jam.

Validated Learning Exception
Due to the compliance required for those industries requiring a Validated Learning System,
Validated Learning is provisioned with Four (4) environments. A sandbox environment is
provisioned at time of order. Stage/Preview, Pre-Production and Production tenants can be
provisioned at the same time as a group, or one at a time. The implementation Partner will
work with the customer to request the tenants according to the project phases. When
Validated Learning is provisioned, a BizX Sandbox tenant is provided in the Preview
environment, with which Customer would have one to one BizX-LMS integration. For more
information on Validated Learning Environments, please refer to “Help Portal - Validated
SaaS”.

SAP SUCCESSFACTORS PROVISIONING BY PRODUCT
The following table shows the tenants that are provided for each solution.

                                                                                             4
Note that additional Test tenants can be ordered for most solutions (please refer to the
specification sheet for SAP SuccessFactors Additional Test Tenants for more details).
