Overview
q New online application for current and former students to:
v Access secondary school transcripts, certificates, scholarship
information, and course and examination marks
v Order and electronically send transcripts to post-secondary
institutions
q Replaces two existing applications:
v Student Secure Web – portal for current students to access course and
exam information and request transcripts be sent to post-secondary
institutions
v Transcripts and Certificates Online – public site for former graduates to
order copies of their transcripts and graduation certificates.

• Download digital, pdf or hardcopy of transcripts
• Select up to 25 Post-Secondary Institution (PSI) selections at no
charge
• Request real-time transfer of transcripts to PSI and employers
• Authorize ongoing PSI access to receive transcript updates
throughout the year
• Receive real-time feedback on status of transcript delivery
• Benefit from possible early admission and program acceptance
decisions to PSIs

Getting Started
Important Information for Students
q Students must register for a BC Government account,
a BCeID before accessing the StudentTranscript
Service.
q Current students receive 25 free transcripts for
distribution
q Students are responsible for ensuring transcript
accuracy prior to transmission to post-secondary
institutions

16Choosing information to go to PSIs
Choose Send Option
Students can choose how they want to send their
transcript to the post-secondary institutions they
have selected; note the delivery method is
dependent on the Post-Secondary Institution.
Currently the defaults are set to:
• Send final marks when they are available:
displayed when the post-secondary
institution only receives printed copies of
transcripts; your final marks will be mailed in
July
• Send interim and final marks when they are
available: interim marks are sent
electronically in May and final marks are sent
electronically in July. This option will only be
displayed for current students and is not
available to former students.
If the student wants to ‘send my printed
transcript now”, then they will need to change
their selection from the current default button.

q Students that select ‘send interim and final
marks when they become available’ will see
their item status as PROCESSING until the
interim transcript is sent in a batch file to the
PSIs in May and final transcripts in July
22Accessing PSI Summary Report
UPDATE - March 2018:
q Schools should check to see if their students have
made an incorrect PSI selection by checking their
“PSI summary report” on the School Secure Web
q https://www.bced.gov.bc.ca/exams/tsw/princ_terms.jsp
q Students must verify their selections in STs no later
than May 3rd, otherwise their interim marks will not
be sent to the PSIs in the May batch file.
23Reviewing Student Selections
On the PSI Summary Report for Schools: 2018
q Review the report to see students selections
q If the student did not make a selection or selected
‘Send now’, they will not appear on this report.
q If missing, schools should follow up with those
students as soon as possible
q Students must go back into the STS website and re-
select their PSIs individually and resend their
transcripts by May 3rd to ensure that their interim
marks are included in the batch that is sent to PSIs on
May 7th.
