Thank you for inquiring about membership at Schuylkill Country Club! SCC offers a
family-friendly atmosphere where members can forge lasting friendships and create indelible
memories. Few things are more precious than the memories you create while doing things
you enjoy, with people you love. There are a variety of memberships available designed to
meet your desires.
Formally opened on May 10, 1921, SCC has an established history of fine social
affairs, formal and casual dining, recreation and swimming, and our 18-hole championship
golf course designed by world-renowned golf course architect, Donald Ross. Registered with
the Donald Ross Society, the course is exacting in play yet surrounded by stunning views in
all directions. Our Pro Shop and Men’s & Ladies locker complex along with practice facilities
that include a driving range, short game area and putting green, accommodate and provide all
golfers with the amenities needed for a pleasurable golfing experience.
Schuylkill Country Club has always been the place to entertain your family and
friends, and a special place for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays or business affairs. Our
restaurant staff presents the finest quality and service in Schuylkill County coupled with a
seasonal ambience overlooking the golf course from the grille room windows or the serenity
of outside dining on our magnificent patio. Our Clubhouse can handle parties from 20 to 150.
Our recreation complex includes two pools for members to enjoy a relaxing
atmosphere during the summer months. While at the pool you can get out of the sun in our
fully stocked and staffed bar, or order a variety of menu items from our snack stand to enjoy a
relaxing poolside meal. The complex also includes a basketball court and pickleball courts.

Golf Membership Information
• Dues include unlimited greens fees, locker, bag storage, range and handicap fees for the
Primary Member
• Spouses can purchase any of the golf fees listed above at the corresponding rate
• Children over the age of 15 years can participate in unlimited greens fees for $100 and
children under 15 can play at no charge
• Resident Family and Single Golf memberships offer equity and voting privileges with the
purchase of a $500 bond - must be 29 years or older
• Non-Resident Golf memberships are available at 20+ air miles from SCC
• All Golf memberships have unlimited access to the restaurant, pool and recreation complex
• All Golf Family memberships include spouse and children (unmarried under the age of 25)
• All Golf Single memberships include children (unmarried under the age of 25)
• Guests are welcome on the golf course and at the pool and recreation complex 5 times per year
when accompanied by a member, the prevailing guest fees will apply
• Guests are welcome for unlimited dining and social events when accompanied by a member
Social Membership Information
• Social memberships include use of the pool and recreation complex during regular hours at no
charge and guests are welcome 5 times per year at the daily guest fees
• Golf is available to Social Members during the following times:
April 1st to October 31st - 5 rounds at the prevailing daily golf fees
Play in Club tournaments such as Ice Breaker Open, One Day Member-Guests and outside
outings will not count against the 5 rounds
Unlimited rounds on Mondays during the golf season at the prevailing golf fees
Unlimited rounds from November 1st to March 31st at the seasonal golf fees
• Social Members may bring guests to play golf 5 times per year at prevailing guest fees
• Social members are permitted to participate in the range and/or golf simulator programs at
the prevailing rates
• Guests are welcome for unlimited dining and social events when accompanied by a member
House Membership Information
• House memberships include unlimited dining privileges and access to all social events
• Golf or pool and recreation complex privileges are available to House members when
accompanied by a Golf or Social member
• Guests are welcome for all dining and social events when accompanied by the House member
Schuylkill Country Club
Reciprocal Golf Course Program
As a golf member of Schuylkill Country Club you also have golf and dining privileges at 31 other
private Country Clubs. Our reciprocal golf program gives you the opportunity to play at these
courses for a special reciprocal member fee. Guests are welcome at the prevailing reciprocal
clubs guest fees. Dining privileges are available with or without a day of golf.

Schuylkill Country Club is known for our championship 18-hole Donald Ross designed golf
course that has been host to many prestigious golf tournaments and events over the years. Most
recently the PA Golf Association has held events such as the Art Wall Junior Memorial in
2015, the Senior 4-Ball Tournament in 2016, the Jay Sigel Match Play Championship in 2018
and the PA Open Qualifier in 2019. In 2020 we hosted the United States Mid-Amateur
Qualifier. SCC was recognized by the Golf Association of Philadelphia as part of their
“Ultimate 18.” Our eleventh hole was selected as honorable mention.
In addition we host many club events throughout the year that are member favorites, including the
Ice Breaker Open that officially kicks off the golf season, the Spring Handicap, 2-day
Member-Guest Tournament, and our season ending tournament the Ice Maker Open. SCC
men and women also participate in the GAP Team Matches which are very popular and give our
members the chance to play at other country clubs that are part of the GAP Association.
Women’s events include Ladies’ Day on Tuesdays, the Twilight League on Wednesday
evenings, the Presidents Cup, and the SCC Ladies Golf Association Championship. Do not
forget about the younger golfers! We offer a variety of clinics for all ages and all golfing
abilities. Junior Clinics are every Thursday during the summer and there are two different 3-day
Summer Camps as well, one in June and one in August.
Finally, our fully stocked Pro Shop has everything you need! You can get your clubs re-gripped
or re-shafted and our PGA Professionals offer lessons for all ages and abilities. Another new
addition is our golf simulator. This offers the technology to fine tune your swing or play a casual
or competitive round of golf on top courses including SCC. In addition we have an outdoor
practice putting green and chipping area to further enhance your game.
Is it your goal to swim, relax and dine pool side? Then our new Pool and Recreation Complex
is the place for you! Our complex opened in 2019 and features a main pool and kids pool along
with a basketball court and 2 pickleball courts. The air-conditioned pool house has a full bar with
tables and seating to enjoy a drink or a meal from our snack stand.
Social Events at SCC are some of the best! Our events are designed for the whole family. Some
of the most popular events include the Kids Easter Egg Hunt, 4th of July Celebration, the Fall
Fest with Hayrides, countless Pool Parties, and most of all our Santa Brunch, with special
holiday crafts and pictures with Santa!
You can always count on SCC for the holidays! We have special menus on Easter, Mother's
Day and Thanksgiving every year. During Christmas we are the perfect spot to host any holiday
event. Our Tree Lighting and Holiday Bash are always a blast. During the Spring, Summer and
Fall, Happy Hours on the patio or at the pool never fail to provide the social atmosphere for
family, friends and guests.
In 2021 we celebrate our 100th Anniversary and although the clubhouse has seen many upgrades
over the years, the club still maintains the charm and elegance of the last century. The clubhouse
location was selected to take advantage of the breathtaking views of Schuylkill County and has
been part of many great events from weddings and galas, to baby showers, graduations and
reunions, and everything in between. SCC is always here to make any life event perfect and
