Solace in the South
“Building for the Future”
 28th - 29th March 2019
 Donnington Valley Hotel
   Newbury, Berkshire
Aim of the Conference

The theme of this year’s event is ‘Building for the future’ – both communities
and the organisations that serve them.

Day one considers building for the future is more than providing housing,
it is about building communities and places where our people/citizens
will thrive. How do we ensure that new homes are integrated into the
geography/region/culture – and as well as ensuring the infrastructure is in
place it is also about supporting individuals and groups to ensure successful
communities.

Day two is about building our organisational and personal resilience to
deliver for the communities we serve in these challenging times. With
Speakers talking candidly about some of the biggest challenges that have
faced organisations and how to rebuild them and yourself, what can we do
now to build our own capacity and leadership skills?
