program designed to have students be
fluent in Spanish while meeting grade
level academic expectations. Students
learn Spanish because they must in or-

social studies.
All classroom conversation will be
in Spanish. The teacher will teach in
Spanish. Students will talk to each
other and the teacher in Spanish. Stu-
dents will gain a bigger view of God’s
world as author of both the English
language and the Spanish language.
We will continue to offer our English-
based track. We love the teaching that
our current teachers are providing our
students. We fully intend for that to
continue. Some parents will not be in-
terested in Spanish immersion, and we
want to serve their families as well.
While classroom conversation will be
in Spanish, there are some exceptions.
