28th ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOL
                  STUDENT ART EXHIBITION
The Miamisburg Art Gallery is honored to have beautiful works represented by
 the students of Carlisle H.S., Franklin H.S., John Lazares Alternative School,
  Madison H.S., Miamisburg H.S., Springboro H.S., Valley View H.S., Warren
               County Learning Center and Waynesville H.S..

         The exhibition will run until March 23 and admission is free.
   Exhibition times are Monday - Thursday 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM; Friday and
            Saturday noon - 8:00 PM; Sunday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

                           RED TAG SALE!
        Our next exhibiting members show is the BIG Spring Art Sale
         (AKA: "Red Tag Sale") coming up on Thursday, March 28th!

   Do you have any pieces you'd like to sell that are $100 or less? Bring them
  in! Any size accepted but they must be original, framed/gallery wrapped and
       have a wire to hang from (no sawtooth hangers please). If we have
 enough miniatures, we could have a wall especially for those. Accepting up to
10 works per artist and must be received no later than Tuesday, March 26. The
   sale will run until Saturday, April 13 and you may pickup at closing of show.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR JURIED SHOW
We are still in need for a chairperson and other volunteers to help out with our
     2019 Annual Juried Show. Please join us for a special meeting on
  Wednesday, March 20th at 4:30 PM. If you cannot make it and would like to
volunteer or have any questions about the Juried Show please contact Jennifer

       CALL FOR ARTISTS: SPRING FEST BOOTH
    MAG members have shown interest in selling their art at a booth in the
upcoming Spring Fest (previously called Spring Fling). The Spring Fest is May
16th, 17th, 18th and 19th. If you have interest in sharing a booth or creating art
during the festival please contact Jennifer Sayger (937) 433-5921 text/call or by

                          PLEIN AIR EVENTS
   SPRING FEST: We will have a gathering of artists during the Spring Fest
 from May 16th-19th to paint "Plein-Air" in and around Miamisburg. Members
    and non-members welcome. Details to come as the event gets closer.

ANNUAL PLIEN AIR EVENT: MAG will be hosting another Plein Air gathering
Saturday, September 14th from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. We will be meeting at the
 gallery for coffee and pastries then dispersing from there. Please text or call

                     BOWTIES EVERYWHERE
  As some of you may know, this will be Mayor Dick Church Jr.'s last year as
 active mayor of Miamisburg. He is the longest-serving mayor for Miamisburg
 and will retire with a total of 28 years. Mayor Church is famous for his bowtie
   and the city will be celebrating his iconic look with special events and fun
activities involving bowties. The gallery would like to introduce special homage
  and include bowties in the art displayed during our Hometown Exhibit June
                             22nd through August 2nd.

A few reminders for our members:
YES to wire hangers! Exhibiting Members — please make sure all of the submitted artwork
for our member shows have wire hangers to hook to on the back of your piece. We do not
accept sawtooth hangers or unframed artwork unless it is a gallery wrap canvas of 1-1/2"
thick or more. A member may enter of three (3) pieces of art work per exhibition, unless
otherwise notified.

Exhibiting Members are required to volunteer for gallery duty. If you haven't signed up,
please do so as soon as possible.

We now have bubble wrap for packing artwork to use ONLY for purchases made at the
gallery, please be considerate. Thank you!
