BY MARCH 15 | BY APRIL 30 | AFTER MAY 1Experience new adventures at Lutherock, where people of all ages can grow in faith and
experience the joy of trying new things. You’ll enjoy the beauty of God’s creation with old and
new friends, sharing the excitement of outdoor adventure in a loving and safe environment.
Perched on the south slope of mile-high Sugar Mountain near Boone, NC, Lutherock reaches
an elevation of 5’326 making it the tallest Lutheran camp East of the Rockies. We offer 753
acres of trails, trees and the scenic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our programs offer high
adventure activities with a focus on caring for creation. Our staff will take the time throughout
the day to pause and look for God with their campers. Every program has its own schedule but
each night we gather as a camp community for an activity such as: worship, dramatization and
skits, games, campfires, s’more’s, making hand churned ice cream and much more. We also
have a closing celebration at the end of the week for the entire camp. With amazing trails, low
and high ropes course with zipline, an alpine tower with giant swing, and rock climbing there is
a lot to do onsite. More adventures await with caving at Worley’s Cave or rafting on the French
Broad, Watauga, and Nolichucky Rivers. Come experience adventure this summer and spend
time living on the Rock!
