about hotchillee
We’ve specialised in organising bucket list cycling events since 2004.
Our iconic events bring together an exciting blend of amateur, professional, celebrity and
business people all sharing a love for cycling.
Our classic event format of fully supported seeded speed groups with timed race sections
means participants can race for leaders jerseys and age category awards, or simply focus
on the endurance nature of the events.
Being part of a team is an excellent way of enhancing your enjoyment on a HotChillee event.
Teams are made up of four riders who can either race for the coveted Best Team award, or
simple enjoy the ride together.
Previous participants of HotChillee events include Tour de France winner Stephen Roche,
professional GBR cyclists Ben Swift and Geraint Thomas, F1-great Nigel Mansell,
Olympian James Cracknell, Paris-Roubaix winner Magnus Backstedt, former Vice Captain
of the England Cricket Team Matt Prior, former England rugby captain Will Carling, South
African Rugby World Cup winner Joel Stransky and seven times winner of Paris-Nice, Sean
Kelly.
Previous teams include Adobe, Barclays, BGC, Coca-Cola, DHL, GE Capital, Hogan
Lovells, IBM, ICAP, IG Markets, Microsoft, Mint, Maserati, ORYX, Sigma Sport, Skoda,

Next year will be the 15th anniversary of the HotChillee LONDON-PARIS.
We will celebrate by rolling into Paris on closed roads the day ahead of the Tour de France
2018 finish. Riders will have the opportunity to watch the pros arrive with VIP finish line
hospitality. We will also be staying in the same hotel as some of the Tour de France pro
teams in Paris, the icing on the cake of any LONDON-PARIS experience.
The event will be capped at 400 riders ranging from previous Tour de France winners to new
cyclists who are supported by rolling road closures and over 150 experienced event crew.
Riders will be seeded into 6 different speed groups pre-event and start with a timed lap of
the iconic Herne Hill Velodrome. Each group will then commence the epic 500km journey to
Paris supported by a lead car, HotChillee Ride Captains, support vehicle, mechanic,
paramedic and motorbike outriders.
There will be timed race sections each day for those who want to compete for Leader’s
Jerseys, age category awards or team competition.
All LONDON-PARIS riders are invited to take part in a monthly ride programme in the Surrey
area in the lead up to the event. These rides are free and an excellent way to practice riding
in a bunch and meet your fellow riders, Ride Captains and HotChillee crew.

Teams do not need to take part in the competition. Some participants prefer to enter as a
team so that can take on the challenge together. If you want to compete here are the rules:
• A team is made up of 4 riders.
• The times of the fastest 3 team members in the timed GC section for each stage are
recorded.
• The aggregate times of the fastest 3 riders across all 3 Stages are then added to form the
final results at the end of Stage 3.
• All riders must ride in Groups 1 or 2 for the duration of the ride to qualify for the Best Team
Award.
