to build the most dynamic cars for the champions of tomorrow. Borne of a pedigree that
has stood the test of time, Brabham Automotive is a racing dynasty like no other, which
drives the company and provides its inspiration.
Sir Jack Brabham was a triple Formula world champion and in 1966 became the first - and is
still the only - man to win a Formula 1 world championship in a car of his own construction.
It’s a feat that is unlikely to ever be matched.
Despite only building its first car in 1962, by the mid-1960s Brabham became the largest
manufacturer of single-seat racing cars in the world, and by 1970 had built over 500 cars.
Today, Brabham remains one of the most iconic motorsport marques with a lineage
of champion racers, engineers and innovators. Brabham Automotive continues that
rich heritage, driving the Brabham story into the 21st century to once again design and
manufacture cars that defy convention.
Staying true to Brabham’s proud Anglo-Australian roots, the company has its US, European
and Middle Eastern office in the UK, whilst its Australiasian and Asian office is based in
Adelaide, South Australia, where the BT62 is also manufactured.

The Brabham BT62 has been designed and engineered to demand more from its driver. It is a car for those who want to
challenge themselves and push themselves to experience driving in its purest form. Using lightweight materials, processes
and technologies, the Brabham BT62 is a mid-engineered hypercar with power driven to the rear wheels via a rear-mounted
race-spec transmission.
With a dry weight of just 972kg, the vehicle is incredibly light, and boasts a power-to-weight ratio of 730ps per tonne. Power
comes from a Brabham 5.4 litre V8 engine which produces 710ps (700bhp, 522kW) and 667 Nm (492 ft/lb) of torque.
With it’s performance-optimised body and agressive aerodynamic package, the Brabham BT62 delivers up to 1600kg of
downforce.
Brabham Automotive has developed the BT62 as an exclusive vehicle limited to just 70 cars, with both track or road variants
available.

The BT62R is the perfect option for customers who want to drive their BT62 both on the track and on the road.
With the same Brabham 5.4 litre naturally aspirated V8 engine and power output as the track variant, the BT62R ensures that
customers have the benefit of driving their car on the road without compromising performance on the track.
The BT62R has been designed to provide additional comfort and luxury, with a number of additional features incuding increased
ride height with a front and rear axle lift kit, increased steering lock range, locking doors and an immobilizer system, adding air
conditioning and including high quality upholstery.
In addition to the standard modifications from the BT62 to road conversion, our highly-skilled team will ensure that the vehicle is
compliant with the rules and regulations of the market that you’ll be driving your BT62R. We will work with the relevant agencies
to establish a set of vehicle modifications and the required set of components that will allow the Brabham BT62R to pass the
relevant approval scheme.

The BT62 chassis is the centrepiece of the car and is a masterpiece of design and construction. Manufactured
from lightweight, high-tensile chromoly steel it provides unrivalled torsional rigidity. By adding chromium and
molybdenum to the steel, the strength and toughness of the chassis is unrivalled. The chassis also features
adjustable anti-roll bars and full camber adjustment.
Working with the chassis to keep the car glued to the road is an aerodynamics package producing up to
1600kg of downforce at top speed. The BT62’s sculpted body is designed to manage airflow over the whole
body as a continuous surface. This optimises aero performance by keeping the high-pressure air working on
the upper surfaces ad air intakes, ensuring maximum downforce and adequate cooling flow to the powetrain.
The Brabham BT62 is a tour de force of technical know-how,producing performances that rank second only

Our state-of-the-art facility is located in Adelaide, South Australia and occupies a dedicated space within a 15,000 sqm facility,
which also houses other advanced manufacturing projects of parent company Fusion Capital.
The facility is where the seventy BT62s are hand-made to order by our team of experts. The space is scalable for when Brabham
Automotive moves to its next vehicle build which will still have an artisan feel but will provide for increased volume.
With purpose-built vehicle bays, quality sign off bays, a carbon composite facility, offices and dedicated board room which doubles
as a customer engagement centre, it’s a hub of activity where decisions are made and customers can visit. We actively encourage
customers to visit us, where possible, and be part of their car-build process. It’s a unique opportunit for them to meet the team and
to see their BT62 coming together.
