"It is our job to do our very
best to serve each and every
member of our Association."

It's Nadia Ali from Revel Realty Inc. and I hope that you and your families are doing as well as can be during these

crazy times.

Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. Born in St. Catharines and raised in Niagara Falls, I'm a Niagara

girl at heart and am passionate about this region because of its growth, potential and all that it offers!

As a University of Toronto Honours graduate, I attended Law school before getting my Real Estate licence and have

been a member of NAR for 12 years. I pursued a career in Real Estate because I wanted to combine my love for

homes, properties, and the customer experience with my dedication to bolster the industry with integrity. It has

always been my goal to maintain a high level of professionalism, trust, and confidence with my clients and I feel the

same about the Association!

I've had the pleasure of being a Director for NAR for the past three years and have learned so much. To be honest, I

feel like I have just gotten my feet wet and am gaining a good understanding of how our Association functions.

Having served on both the NAR Governance and MLS committees, it has given me some valuable insight as to many

of the discussions that occur at the table and the various processes.

I've also had the privilege of volunteering for faith-based organizations and other public councils. These volunteer

experiences have given me the opportunity to learn and grow.

It's a unique position to be the only nominee who has already served as a Director and I would love the opportunity

to act in YOUR best interests. I would welcome the chance to get to know all our members. If elected as your

Director, I would be here to listen to ALL your concerns, answer your questions, hear your suggestions and input,

bring it forward to the Board table and be transparent. Simply put, it is our job to do our very best to serve each and

every member of our Association. I ask for your support, trust, and confidence. Good luck to my fellow candidates-

what a robust list of fine professionals! We are going to be in good hands, I know it.

Marta has made Niagara Region her home since 2001, since the beginning of her Real Estate career with NAR 12

      "I saw that Niagara needed
          more hard-working,
           honest and reliable
             REALTORS®."
My name is Kristen Baillie, and I am excited to be running for a position to serve on the Board of Directors for the

Niagara Association of REALTORS®.

I spent most of my childhood and teenage years growing up in a small town on beautiful Georgian Bay, namely Parry

Sound, but my family and I routinely returned to Niagara, as that is where my extended family lived. I moved back to

Niagara in 2002 to attend College.

I started working in the Real Estate Industry 16 years ago when I graduated from the Law Clerk program at Niagara

College. I decided to become a REALTOR® in 2012 because I saw that Niagara needed more hard-working, honest

and reliable REALTORS®, and I needed more interaction with people rather than sitting behind a computer screen for

40 hours a week.

I became licensed as a Sales Representative in May of 2013 and later became a Broker in November of 2018. I have

been a member of NAR since my initial registration as a REALTOR® and have since volunteered on the 2018/2019 YPN

Committee as a member, the 2019/2020 YPN Committee as Chair, and I am currently serving on the MLS Committee

for 2020/2021 as a member.

I have been volunteering my time to help organizations and committees since I was in high school. I believe I am a

great candidate to fill one of the seats available on the Board of Directors because of my experience as a Law Clerk

and my passion for the profession. I take pride in our profession, and I believe that if we work in coordination with our

Board and Association, we can better understand each other and work together to make Niagara REALTORS® better

than we already are!

I know that if I get elected, I can continue to work hard on behalf of you, the membership, in all of our best interests.

        "I will bring an open,
          collaborative, and
       adaptable spirit to the
                Board."
I've been a licensed realtor with NAR since 2012, but I like to say that I grew up in the business.

Real Estate and self-employment are in my blood and I love how it allows me to wear many different hats and

explore diverse skill sets. As a third-generation REALTOR®, I've grown up knowing the dedication and energy that

this industry demands. REALTOR® sell more than just properties. We are builders and creators. We help build

stronger communities and help individuals and families create and shape their lives.

I think we have a responsibility to our communities and industry to continue to adapt and evolve. These are the

principles that guide me. During these times especially, it's imperative that we adapt and respond to our ever-

changing world.

I will bring an open, collaborative, and adaptable spirit to the Board. It's important the Board is a representation of

the entire association and I would be honoured to represent NAR but especially the south end of the Region as well

as the younger generations. In order to have a strong association, it's important to have diverse voices at the table.

As a Board Member, I understand that I represent you, the member, and I will always be available to each and every

member and bring concerns to the Board. I strongly believe in collaboration. I've been a member of the MLS &

Technology Committee for the past four years and am presently on the Port Cares Board of Directors. I've recently

completed the ACL Leadership Niagara program and continually push to expand my professional skills through

courses and personal business coaching.

        "I have a knack for
     bringing people together
        for common goals."

I have been a REALTOR® for eight years, and have always been a member of NAR.

I began my service to our board as a member of the YPN Committee for the 2019/2020 year. We had a lot of work to

do to turn that committee around and I played an instrumental role in bridging the gap between our membership and

the board of directors, so much so that I was asked to join the committee again for 2020/2021.

I have volunteered on committees for Women’s Place for the last few years and, of course, have my own extremely

successful fundraising event … Lip Sync Battle Niagara. I’m certainly not afraid to ask in order to receive, even

convincing Royal LePage’s CEO Phil Soper to participate in this year’s event.

I have a knack for bringing people together for common goals. Having the ability to see what the end result can be

and stay focused on getting there has served me extremely well, as it will to our members. I have the necessary skills of

mediation and constructive negotiating through my REALTOR® years and my past 14 years in the nursing profession.

In 2018 I was a finalist for the GNCC Business Leadership award. In 2020, a nominee for GNCC Businesses that Give

Back Award and winner of NAR’s Community Involvement Award. Nothing is more important to me than building up my

community and those around me. We have a duty to support each other however we can.

As a member of the NAR Board of Directors I’ll bring my accepting, inquisitive tenacity that has been with me since

birth. My commitment to our industry as a trusted person who will always show up and contribute is evident. I have built

incredible relationships with those of you I’ve been privileged to work with and very much looking forward to using my

influence to continue to work with and for you as a director.

  "Being a REALTOR® has
 been the best experience of
          my life."

A little about me, I am a lifelong resident of the Niagara Region. Born and raised here, I was married to Gary for

30 years, before he passed away earlier this year. We have three children and one grandson.

Real Estate was a passion of mine long before it was a career. I have been in sales for over 30 years and being a

REALTOR® has been the best experience of my life.

Since becoming a full-time REALTOR®, I have achieved numerous Royal LePage awards for my sales

accomplishments. I was the first recipient of the NAR John Snowling Community Involvement Award in 2015 and

most recently, I was awarded NAR’s Award of Merit as voted on by my peers.

I have been a REALTOR® for over 16 years and a NAR Member my entire career. I believe my community

involvement and my decades of volunteering make me an ideal candidate to be a Director on the NAR Board.

Over the years through interacting with countless members I have earned their trust and respect and I am

confident I can serve them well. I have chaired several organizations over the last 30 years, and I have helped

raise awareness and hundreds of thousands of dollars for several local charities, schools and organizations.

As a volunteer on the Governance Committee with NAR for the last 3 years, the knowledge and experience I have

gained is invaluable. I feel the insights gained in my past years volunteering will support my goals to bring a fresh

perspective and new ideas to the Board table. I am always willing to not only listen, but hear concerns and

comments. I hope the members would love to see what I can offer.

          "I understand how
important it is to help get
      the membership engaged."

I have been a realtor with NAR for 4 years. In that time I have secured a director role within my brokerage, run a

successful real estate team and have won multiple awards for my efforts in real estate, marketing and social media.

Being recognized on a variety of T.V Talk shows, podcasts and real estate events, I feel I demonstrate a strong passion

for sharing what I have learned to help make others better.

What makes me a great candidate for a board position is my dedication to the industry as a whole and my passion for

bridging the gap between membership and the board. I understand how important it is to help get the membership

engaged with the association, more importantly I have the motivation to help make that happen.

If we do what we have always done, we will get the same results we have always got. Using my experience with the

YPN Committee and being a part of the early adopting group, I saw first hand the massive hole in engagement

between the membership and the board. We need to drastically rethink the way we are perceived in the marketplace

and by our membership. Using more progressive and innovative methods of messaging is so important. What we have

been doing is not working and what we need to do is implement ways to engage the membership in a way that is easy

and convenient for us busy realtors.

A visible social media presence, who is tirelessly promoting his real estate ventures online, I offer Revel, The NAR and

my clients an avant-garde perspective on the future of real estate promotion in the Niagara Region. A proud husband,

and father of two, I am a fierce competitor in negotiation circles, which compliments my creative, visual aptitudes,

inclusive, but not limited to marketing/branding, real estate, hockey and time well spent at the family winery.

"I have a genuine interest in
           serving our
  profession and membership."
I’m Lisa Taylor, I’ve been a REALTOR® since 2008 and earned my Broker status in December of 2018. I’m also the Managing Broker for

my office of Keller Williams Complete Niagara Realty since April 2019. I’ve been a member of the Niagara Association of REALTORS®

since obtaining my licence almost 25 years ago.

I entered the Real Estate business in September of 2008 after spending almost 10 years as a top marketing executive in the gaming

industry and another 10+ years in various other marketing capacities. My passions for real estate evolved from a series of

experiences, first from designing and building my first home to selling it and purchasing another. Also as a youngster and growing

up my parents used real estate as a means of building equity. For as long as I can remember they would buy a house, fix it up and

sell it, pretty much one every year until I had finished high school.

I’ve always believed that it’s immensely important to give back to our community where possible, so from 2006 to 2016 I volunteered

my time to chair a special event committee for the United Way. Together the committee raised more than $250,000 to support

families and individuals in Niagara Falls and Fort Erie.

After 2016 I wanted to align my focus around Real Estate and supporting and giving back to my profession and colleagues by

coaching, mentoring and training at the brokerage level. A natural progression of that role has led me to continue this focus on a

deeper level by working with the board and taking on the Broker/Manager role. I recently obtained a seat on the NAR Governance

committee and I look forward to being involved at that level in the future. We are coming up to an exciting time with the

implementation of TRESA and I can’t think of a better opportunity to serve. I’m interested in being a voice for positive change,

elevating standards and lifting public perceptions. Most importantly I look forward to supporting and leading our membership

through what could be one of the most pivotal times of change in the history of Real Estate.

What makes me a great candidate for the board is that I have a genuine interest in serving our profession and membership. Those

who know me see me as a leader, an advocate for rules and ethics, a champion for the underdog, one who is always willing to share

my experience and knowledge to assist others and never be afraid to get down in the trenches if necessary. I believe that culture

starts at the top and building an environment of cooperation and support to improve lives and help businesses thrive is where my

passion lies.
