Hong Leong Bank Berhad is one of the leading financial services organizations in Malaysia. With a

Hong Leong Bank is a subsidiary of Hong Leong Financial Group Berhad, the financial services arm of
the Hong Leong Group. Apart from banking, Hong Leong Financial Group is involved in the provision
of insurance and takaful, as well as investment banking, unit trust, fund management and stock broking
services.

Hong Leong Bank (Cambodia) Plc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Hong Leong Bank Berhad Malaysia,
officially opened our banking operations in Phnom Penh on August 23, 2013 and to support our
business expansion, we are looking for qualified candidates to fill the following positions based in
Phnom Penh.

1. Head of Priority Banking
    Responsibilities:
     - Develop strategic relationships for support of priority banking products as well as other
       consumer banking products for Priority Banking customers.
     - Work closely with all related parties in aligning product and business strategies and ensuring
       compliance within internal and external regulatory framework.
     - To set and enforce a high standard of Priority Banking products, quality and service levels.
     - Manage priority banking product portfolios, policy, process, and empanelment’s if any.
     - Review and improve all Corporate partnerships include in our Priority Banking lifestyle
       package
     - To supervise and coach Priority Banking team to improve their individual performance and
       contributions
     - To lead by example the highest standards in terms of teamwork, customer and staff care,
       and management competence and ethics.
     - To develop the skill set and capabilities of the staff in line with the market’s changing
       landscape.

    Requirements:
     - Bachelor degree in business preferably with a specialization in Finance or Accounting.
     - At least 5 years relevant experience in the banking sector including at least 2 years in similar
       positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
     - Experience in consumer lending, sales and marketing, product development and branding,
       branch management is added advantage.
     - Good planning, organization, interpersonal and communication skills.
     - Strong influencing and negotiation skills
     - Leadership and numerical skills

2. Relationship Manager – Lending
    Responsibilities:
     - Provide marketing support to clients in line with the business banking strategy;
     - Establish new borrowing relationships for Business Banking (SME), preparing the required
credit and financial analysis as per the bank policies and procedures to enhance the bank’s
         market share;
     -   Overall customer relationship management with both physical visits as well as
         inbound/outbound calls to clients;
     -   Prepare proposals to increase loan disbursements and 1st level credit evaluation to clients;
     -   Collect data to analyze and identify prospects for the development of both short term and
         long term business opportunities;
     -   Service and identify both current and new client base, thus providing new offerings and
         solutions.

    Requirements:
     - Bachelor degree preferably in Finance, accounting or related degree;
     - Minimum 3 years of working experience preferred in business banking area;
     - Knowledge on SME, Corporate, Trade and Client Relationship;
     - Good skills in the assessment of credit risk spread and the analysis of the financial
       statements;
     - Knowledge and experience of Banking /Financial Services;
     - Good understanding of financial accounting, trade service;
     - Good communication and negotiation skills;
     - Good command of English.

3. Relationship Manager – Liabilities
    Responsibilities:
     - Growing a strong deposit base & customer footings via acquisition & expansion of New to
       Bank high net worth individuals in country, tapping into both retail as well as business
       owners;
     - Managing customer relationships to build a profitable relationships with customers, to deepen
       and broaden account relationships with the objective to generate revenue and focus on
       deposits and wealth management;
     - Market deposits in both local and foreign currencies & cross sell investment products where
       applicable;
     - Plan and assist Head of Department to host & run events with the interest to build better
       customer relationships and also acquisition of new customers;
     - To refer business loans to HLBCAM business centers where necessary;
     - To actively service customers on their personal financial needs aligned with customers’
       needs;
     - Networking high net worth individuals within the community;
     - Worked with Product Owner, to offer proactive and personalized financial services to the
       affluent segment customer.
    Requirements:
     - Bachelor degree preferably in banking, finance, accounting or related fields;
     - Minimum 3 years of working experience preferred in business banking deposit area;
     - Familiar in dealing with business customer and financial analysis;
     - Knowledge on SME, Corporate, Trade and Client Relationship;
     - Good skills in the assessment of credit risk spread and the analysis of the financial
       statements;
     - Knowledge and experience of Banking /Financial Services;
     - Good understanding of financial accounting, trade service;
     - Good communication and negotiation skills;
     - Good command of English and Mandarin is added advantage.

4. Trade Finance Manager
    Responsibilities:
     - Develop and innovate products offering for Trade Finance and Enterprise Payment business;
     - Lead the acquisition, maintenance and growing of customers as well as maximize customer
       profitability;
     - Conduct market and competitor analysis on trade finance and payment services;
     - Establish and maintain a customer-focused servicing to ensure superior customer loyalty;
     - Work with relevant stakeholders to put in place and improve operational processes related to
Trade Finance and Payment transactions;
    - Actively manage team resourcing requirements in order to satisfy key objectives in
      consideration of the business growth objectives of the Bank.
   Requirements:
    - Preferably 5 years’ experience banking services / trade finance/ international payment;
    - University degree and/or professional qualification in Trade / International Payment;
    - Completion of advanced management courses would be an advantage;
    - Good command of English, knowledge of Mandarin is a plus;
    - Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively deal with people from a wide diversity of cultures
      and social environments;
    - Demonstrate clear leadership traits with strong goal orientation and accountability;
    - Strong interpersonal, communication and soft skills necessary for sales people management;
    - Very strong drive and passion to succeed;
    - Ability to work and thrive under pressure;
    - Ability to work as a team.

5. Risk Manager
   Responsibilities:
    - Lead and manage Risk team in country.
    - Notify the Board, Group, and Management about potential risk, new legislation that may
      impact the bank.
    - Engage and liaise with the stakeholders in the country and Group as well as with the officials
      of the regulatory authorities such as National Bank of Cambodia, Cambodia Financial
      Intelligence Unit, etc. as well counterparts within the industry.
    - Ensure that the bank has an approved written risk management policy and operating
      guidelines that are in alignment with the bank’s business strategies and Group’s policy and
      guideline;
    - Ensure that the bank an approved Risk Statement Appetite and that this statement is
      communicated well within the bank and regular and timely reporting mechanism;
    - Instill/embed a culture within the bank that emphasizes staff and management alike to
      internal control, risk management and high ethical standards;
    - Work with internal stakeholders within the bank and Group to identify and close gaps in the
      risk management process through continuous improvement;
    - Ensure that key risks are identified, updated and included in the self-assessment framework
      and template by working closely with functional heads and managers to identify quantitative
      measures for each risk is within the approved limits and that the risk exposure can be
      measured;
    - Ensure that the self-assessment framework/template are completed and reviewed on the
      regular basis as required
    - Work with the functional heads/managers within the bank, applying the self-assessment
      framework/template to identify controls to reduce the likelihood of a risk occurring;
    - Ongoing monitoring of risks – formal and informal basis in order to stay abreast of the bank’s
      activities and country’s situation/trend which may impact on the ability of the bank to operate
      successfully;
    - When the risk indicators are outside the established or approved limits or in the event of
      breach or breaches, raise and discuss with the responsible functional heads to gain a full
      understanding. The breach or breaches have to be highlighted in any risk reports at the
      senior management Board levels. In addition, the relevant regional heads of risk and
      compliance be alerted as well;
    - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirement and measures as set by the regulator
      (National Bank of Cambodia) and other relevant government ministries;
    - Participate fully in developing and regular testing of the bank’s Business Continuity Plan
      (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) and ensure that they are properly documented;
   Requirements:
    - Recognized Degree in Business, Finance or Laws or other relevant field;
    - Minimum 5 years working experience in Risk including managerial role in the banking or
      financial services industry
    - Any risk or other related certification qualification is a plus
    - Dedicated, hardworking, resourceful
- Ability to work independently and with confidence including dealing with senior management,
       directors and regulators.
     - Experience in preparing papers and attending the Board of Risk Committee.
     - Solid knowledge of banking operations, processes and control
     - Strong understanding of Risk framework and policies/guidelines
     - Comprehensive knowledge in law and regulation and its application
     - Superior interpersonal and communication skills in both Khmer and English – speaking,
       listening, reading and writing
     - Able to think out of the box

6. Privilege Partnership Manager
    Responsibilities:
     - Building and growing the privilege benefits for all clients across the bank and business
        partners
     - Expand new customer base through referrals from customers or through personalized/
        advisory services provided
     - Manage and grow all Corporate partnerships including both Priority Banking lifestyle package
        and normal branch customer
     - Acquire new deposit customers as well as PB customers linked to the network of partnership
        companies you manage
     - Relationship building with community and its leaders
     - Cross selling efforts to provide referrals and leads within the Hong Leong Group of
        Companies
    Requirements:
     - Professional or tertiary qualification or related working experience
     - Previous jobs in Mortgage Direct Sales, Wealth Management Relationship
     - Minimum 5 years related working experience in FIs
     - Good interpersonal & communication skills.
     - Strong initiatives, welcome new challenges, CAN DO attitude & ambitious
     - Able to work with all kinds of people
     - Strong negotiation & planning skills.

7. Project Manager
    Responsibilities:
    Plan the project
     - Define the scope of the project or digital transformation initiative in collaboration with senior
       management
     - Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to
       successfully complete the project or initiative
     - Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project or
       initiative
     - Develop a schedule for project or initiative completion that effectively allocates the resources
       to the activities
     - Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected
       by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
     - Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its
       completion
    Implement the project or initiative
     - Execute the project according to the project plan
     - Develop forms and records to document project activities
     - Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
     - Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the
       successful completion of the project
     - Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the
       organization on the progress of the project
     - Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure
       that it meets the project standards
    Control the project or initiative
     - Write reports on the project for management
- Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures
     - Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior
       management on a regular basis (monthly/bimonthly)
     - Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures
     - Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date

    Evaluate the project or initiative
     - Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of
       quality
     - Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase

     Requirements:
     - Bachelor Degree in Banking and Finance or equivalent
     - Minimum 5 years relevant experiences, preferable in the banking industry
     - Independent, innovative with strong goal orientation and problem solving skills
     - Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to thrive and influence decisions
     - Strong drive and passion to succeed
     - Able to work and thrive under pressure
     - Able to facilitate multiple stakeholders communication and creatively finds solutions

8. Assistant Relationship Manager
    Responsibilities:
     - Assist Relationship Managers in preparing credit applications for credit approvals;
     - Proactively support customers on service delivery;
     - Closely monitor customer portfolio and assist Relationship Manager in Deeping business
       relationship with customers;
     - Gather & analyze MIS reports pertaining to business banking;
     - Provide administration and documentation support in maintaining customer credit files.
    Requirements:
     - University degree in Finance or related discipline is preferred;
     - Good command of English;
     - Minimum 2 years of banking experience preferred in business banking area;
     - Good marketing, communication, and interpersonal skill;
     - Willing to work under pressure;
     - Proactive, positive attitude, customer oriented, self-motivated & good team player

9. Assistant Digital Banking Manager
    Responsibilities:
     - Provide support to customers or branch staff related to digital channel e.g. internet banking,
       mobile banking, ATM, CDM issues at branch and Offsite.
     - Monitor and support any issues for customer including internal staff related to digital
       channel/platform.
     - Support Digital Banking Manager in planning and executing digital channel delivery and
       deployment to ensure a smooth and on time implementation.
     - Monitor and providing analytical insights and performance trend of digital channel/platform
       including its uptime.
     - Proactively monitoring on real or potential risks (internal and external) of the HLBCAM digital
       channel/platforms e.g. internet banking, mobile banking, ATM, CDM etc. and recommend for
       risk prevention/mitigation solution.
     - Immediately inform to Digital Banking Manager for any suspicious, skimming device and
       fraudulent transactions.
     - Work closely with vendors on the digital channel/platform’s maintenance either onsite or
       offsite and regular visit the site to ensure that they are well maintained.
     - Work with relevant stakeholders to solve any complaints including transaction disputes
     - Participate in the planning and execution of the new digital channel, enhancement or new
       product
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports and ad-hoc request as assigned by the
       management.
     - Support Manager for any other new assignment and project assigned by management from
       time to time.

    Requirements:
     - A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT skill
     - Preferably having good knowledge of core banking systems from a business operational
       perspective.
     - Minimum one-year of similar experience.
     - Hands on experience of internet and mobile banking and online payments is preferred
     - High tech savvy
     - Good knowledge in Ms. Office such word, excel and email.
     - Good communication skills including English proficiency.
     - Good interpersonal skills and proactive.
     - Able to work under pressure.
     - Strongly commitment

10. Assistant Branch Service Manager
    Responsibilities:
     - Effective Operational Risk Management in the following areas :
           Compliance of internal policies & procedures including sales compliance;
           Statutory & regulatory compliance in relation to AMLA, SBV’s regulations;
           Ensure good internal & external audit rating;
           Create awareness including branch staff competency risk, customer service risk.
     - Customer Service Excellence (deliver consistent customer service, effective migration of
       Self-Service Terminals, complaint handling, queue management).
     - Sales (participate and drive sales initiatives among branch staff to achieve sales targets set).
     - To work jointly with BM to ensure sales compliance of branch staff is in place.
     - Build and foster strong teamwork and working relationship among all branch personnel.
     - Lead and motivate branch staff to work towards achieving the branch common goal.
     - Supervise, train and develop branch staff to improve their competency at branch level.
     - Promote career development and create a conductive working environment for teamwork
       and growth.
     - Carry out annual staff performance appraisals jointly with BM for branch staff.
     - To relief BM during his/her absence (2nd liner to relief BSM).
     - Cost to serve (ensure optimal staffing level, migration to other e-channels, responsible for
       P&L of the branch by maintaining key cost drivers within budgeted amount).
     - Execution Excellence – continuous process improvement and cost down initiatives.

    Requirements:
     - University degree in business, management, finance and banking, accounting or related field.
     - Minimum 3 years of related working experience.
     - Sound knowledge of banking operations, AML and local payment system
     - Strong interpersonal, people management, influencing and communication skills.
     - Service oriented mindset.
     - Knowledge of Chinese is added advantage

11. Procurement Officer
    Responsibilities:
     - Assist Procurement Manager on all purchasing activities including of both IT and non-IT
        items;
     - Coordinate the traveling arrangement including car arrangement, air-ticket booking,
        accommodation booking, etc. according to the internal policies;
     - Assist in handling the office security and maintenance issues;
     - Process purchase requisitions/ orders in souring consistency with bank strategy and goals.
     - Source, invite, assess vender for tenders, bids, quotations and proposals
     - Lead price negotiation to achieve comparative rates for IT and Non IT Hardware, software
        and service
     - Responsible to handle all aspects of IT and Non IT procurement requests
- Assist to monitor email Procurement common mailbox request.
     - Assist to manage screen and certify IT and Non IT vendors through process adoption in
       compliance with bank policies.
     - Assist to manage and conduct vendor evaluation and performance review

   Requirements:
    - University degree in relevant field.
    - Having at least 1 year experiences in the related field, preferably in banking industry.
    - Good knowledge and understanding of procurement preferred in banking
    - Able to work under pressure with stretch schedule
    - Good at English and computer skills
    - Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    - Proactive and well organization.

12. Senior Personal Financial Consultant
    Responsibilities:
     - Ensure the high level of good rapport with customers, prospect and business partners.
     - Plan and execute sales program of the branch in order to build and grow customer base.
     - Write mortgages loans and refer businesses to business banking team.
     - Manage the branch sales team to provide satisfactory banking services all customers.
     - Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring the branch’s objectives are met.
     - Manage team members’ performance.

    Requirements:
     - Graduate from University or College (main subject: banking, finance, accounting, English or
       marketing).
     - At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role.
     - Able to work independently and team leadership skills.
     - Chinese Mandarin is a plus.
     - Able to plan and ensure targets are met.
     - Able to provide efficient customer service.
     - Good communication skills including English proficiency.
     - Result oriented with a strong desire to lead sales team.

13. Personal Financial Consultant
    Responsibilities:
     - Approach and maintain good rapport by providing satisfactory banking service to customers,
       prospect and business partners as well as other stakeholders.
     - Execute promotions and sales of products defined by team leader or management.
     - Contribute to ensuring the branch’s objectives are met.
     - Proactively cross-sell consumer banking products and refer other businesses to relevant
       business units.
    Requirements:
     - Graduate from University or College (main subject: Banking, Finance, Accounting, English or
       Marketing).
     - At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role.
     - Able to work independently.
     - Able to provide efficient customer service.
     - Able to handle complaints.
     - Good communication skills including English proficiency.
     - Result oriented with a strong desire to sell.

14. Credit Operations Intern
     Responsibilities:
     - Prepare payment advice
     - Prepare Journal Entries for daily record into the system
     - Ensure the document is filed properly
     - Obtain data from each department for monthly accrual
- Assist Senior Finance Officer at reconcile suspense accounts
     - Assist Senior Finance Officer in preparing reports
     - Perform other tasks as required from time to time.
     Requirements:
     - Fresh Graduate, Diploma Holders, or University Degree with relevant fields
     - Knowledgeable in banking products and services is added advantage
     - Good communication skills with people of all levels
     - Good communication in English. Chinese is a plus.
     - Able to work as team and fast learner.
     - Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and Email)

15. Digital Banking Intern
     Responsibilities:
     - Support to customers or branch staff related to digital channel e.g. internet banking, mobile
       banking, ATM, CDM issues at branch and Offsite.
     - Monitor and support any issues for customer including internal staff related to digital
       channel/platform.
     - Monitor cash over offsite ATM with informing branch staff and go onsite for cash
       loading/replenishment.
     - Immediately inform to Digital Banking Manager for any suspicious, skimming device and
       fraudulent transactions.
     - Assist team to work closely with vendors on the digital channel/platform’s maintenance either
       onsite or offsite and regular visit the site to ensure that they are well maintained.
     - Support Manager for any other new assignment and project assigned by management from
       time to time.

     Requirements:
     - Fresh Graduate, Diploma Holders, or University Degree with relevant fields
     - Knowledgeable in banking products and services is added advantage
     - Good communication skills with people of all levels

16. Contact Center Intern
     Responsibilities:
     - Support Contact Center in servicing customers over the phone.
     - Ensure telephone courtesies at all times to customers.
     - Ensure quality of all aspects of the job toward customer satisfaction.
     - Assist team to ensure good customer retention by providing excellent and professional
       services.
     - Assist Contact Center in recording daily telephone calls, customer enquiries, preparing
       monthly customer enquiries summary, and tracking some report.
     - Perform other tasks as required from time to time.
     Requirements:
     - Fresh Graduate, Diploma Holders, or University Degree with relevant fields
     - Knowledgeable in banking products and services is added advantage
     - Good communication skills with people of all levels
     - Good communication in English. Chinese is a plus.

17. Compliance Intern
     Responsibilities:
     - Assist Transaction Monitoring (TM) team including: review case, follow up, enhance
       parameter/indicator, and monthly report.
- Assist Financial Crime/AML team in related job.
     - Assist department custodian to manage documents and admin job.

     Requirements:
     - At least 3rd year of Bachelor Degree in any fields (Accounting/Finance is preferable).
     - Sound knowledgeable of law and critical thinking is a plus
     - Able to work under pressure
     - Sound knowledge in Ms. Office such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook email.
     - Able to manage multiple work at the same time.
