ratified a Climate Emergency Strategy in collaboration with the District Councils. A key goal within the
strategy is to work towards achieving carbon neutrality across the Council’s estate and operations by
2030. The Corporate Property Team manages the Council’s buildings and assets portfolio and plays a
significant role towards achieving the Councils carbon neutrality goals.

Our Governing Body is seeking to appoint a Clerk to the Governing Body, to join our supportive and
talented team. The governing body, through its appointed and elected governors, plays a distinctive
and essential role in the continuing success and development of the school. The clerk’s job is to work
with the head teacher, chair and other governors, dealing with administrative matters for the governing
body and advising on legal issues of governance. Central to the role is preparing for, taking notes at
and producing and distributing the minutes for meetings. The post involves mostly evening work. Good
administrative skills and the ability to write agendas and produce accurate concise minutes are

Other than the meetings themselves, hours can be worked flexibly to suit the post-holder.
