Since 2007 the Ancient Oaks Foundation
has been preserving the natural beauty
of the Lake Zurich area by restoring the
oak woodlands and wetlands at the Oak
Ridge Marsh Nature Park and Kuechmann
Park. Volunteers are needed to help preserve
these valuable natural areas for future generations. We
work year round cutting buckthorn and other invasives,
pulling weeds, picking and spreading native seed. For

Special Recreation Association of
Central Lake County (SRACLC)
The Village of Lake Zurich is a cooperative member agency
of the Special Recreation Association of Central Lake
County. SRACLC provides community based therapeutic
recreation programs and services to people of all ages with
disabilities or special needs.
SRACLC is a cooperative effort of the Grayslake, Vernon
Hills, and Mundelein Park Districts and the Villages of
Hawthorn Woods, Lake Zurich, Libertyville, and Lincolnshire.
Individuals residing within the boundaries of the Member
Agencies are considered “residents” of SRACLC and may
utilize the services.
SRACLC offers more than 500 weekly programs, special
events, and camps during the year. SRACLC also recognizes
that some people with disabilities prefer to participate in
recreation programs within their own Park District or
Recreation Department. SRACLC can help you with this
opportunity by providing an extra staff, if deemed
necessary, behavior management support, disability
awareness training, and other adaptive services necessary
for safe and successful participation.

for the season on Friday, June 5, 2020 and will run

Since 2007 the Ancient Oaks Foundation has been preserving the natural
beauty of the Lake Zurich area by restoring the oak woodlands and
wetlands at the Oak Ridge Marsh Nature Park and Kuechmann Park.
Volunteers are needed to help preserve these valuable natural areas for
future generations. We work year round cutting buckthorn and other invasives, pulling

Impulse Dance Company
Impulse Dance Company is for the dancer that is ready to work hard to take their dance training to the next level. Dancers
will perform various times throughout the year as well as participate in competitions and conventions. Dancers are
required to take a company class as well as an additional dance class. Impulse will explore various styles of dance such as
lyrical, jazz, and ballet. Class fee includes performance costumes. New Impulse Company member’s - Required attire kit
fee $130. Returning Company members attire fees are alacarte based on needs.
n Those interested in trying out should have a minimum of two years dance experience.
