AIMS e-Newsletter is the official organ of Association of Indian Management Schools. (For private circulation only)
FROM THE PRESIDENT'S DESK
Dear Members,
Greetings from Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS)!!.
I am pleased to announce the release of the AIMS eNewsletter, Vol.3, No.2, covering the events that have taken
place in January and February 2018 at AIMS and Member Institutions.
I wish to inform you that there is a good response to the announcement made with regard to AIMS Research and
Innovation Fellowship (ARIF) Grant. We have received 18 applications, out of which 16 are eligible for
consideration and the ARIF Committee is looking into them for finalization and announcement of the names of
grantees shortly.
AIMS is also working out on various new programmes in collaboration with some renowned management
institutions for the benefit of management faculty and students, the details of which will be notified soon.
This year AIMS have formulated 14 Chapters across India. I am happy to inform you that many Chapters are doing
fantastic job by conducting regular meetings, inducting new members and conducting new programs. I urge every
member institution to involve itself in Chapter activities and promote the cause of Management education in our
country.
AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA), as you all know, which is one of the National Level tests
conducted by AIMS, has been our focus this year. We are promoting ATMA through digital media and have our
new website ready. I request every member to participate in ATMA and promote the same in your institution and
region.
Although a good number of Members are contributing to this eNewsletter, I would request more and more
Members to send their entries, related directly to management education. The entries should reflect the
contribution being made by the programmes conducted to management education.
Looking forward to your co-operation in bringing out a useful eNewsletter.
Happy reading!!!
With fraternal regards,
Dr Anil Rao Paila
President, AIMS
