Dear Coaches, Agents and WA Member Federations:
It is pleasure to extent to you and your Federation or Club an invitation for the WACT Silver –
NACAC New Life Invitational sponsored by NACAC AA and USATF.
As you are all aware due to the Pandemic of COVID-19 we were forced to cancel this event last
year and have had to deal with several obstacles before finally presenting the event this year
for the benefit of our athletes from the NACAC Area. We are very happy to stage this event and
with the cooperation of USATF we give our athletes the opportunity to move up in the World
Ranking as well as sharing part of the prize money.
The Organization of the WACT Silver – NACAC New Life Invitational will follow all CDC and
USATF COVID-19 protocol requirements.
SPECIAL TECHNICAL & ORGANIZATIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS ESTABLISHED IN ORDER
TO COMPLY WITH THE CURRENT SITUATION DUE TO THE COVID-19:
• There will be a specific number of spectators (2100) allowed, during and after the
meet.
• Field events will have a total of six (6) trials per participant as specified by the
World Athletics Competition and Technical Rulebook.
• The meet will be Open Division (International Athletes from NACAC &
CONSUDATLE National Federations, University Students-Athletes and High-
Performance Club Athletes that meet the standards within the top best marks of
the projected number of entries for each event. For the selection of the
participants in each event we will take in consideration the official marks from
2019 up to 2021. The Meet Organizational Committee will have the absolute right
to accept or not the individuals(s) entries.

NACAC AA will follow the guidelines required by USATF and the Department of Health and the
Department of Sports of the City of Miramar for each person (athletes, coaches, technical
officials, technical support personnel and the limited media personnel, that will be allowed to
enter the facilities).
1. All athletes, official’s, coaches, technical personnel, media personal, and anyone involved with
the meet organization and the competition must present an official ID and a certificate with a
negative result for a COVID-19 PCR test done 72 hours of the start of the meet. Anyone that has
both vaccinations and presents evidence, only must take the COVID-19 Antigen test 72 hour
prior to the meet.
2. Athletes coming from outside the United States must present a certificate of a PCR COVID-19
test with a negative result done 72 hours prior to arrival in the United States.
3. The use of a mask will be always required except when the athlete is competing. In field events
the athlete(s) will be required to use the mask while he or she is not competing (making their
trial).
4. Disinfectant with at least 70% alcohol will be always provided in all places related to the
competition area and where there will be concentration of athletes and other personal,
restrooms, implements, etc.
For invited participants from outside Puerto Rico, please let us know, as soon as possible, the following:
1. Confirmation of Participation.
2. Send to us as soon as possible, date of arrival with all the details (airline, flight number, a
breakdown of the number of participants (athletes-males and females, coaches, other support
personnel, etc.), and information of departure.
4. Host Hotel will be Springhill by The Marriott and Hampton Hotel. Send the above information to
us via email.
The City of Miramar and the NACAC Organizing Committee is looking forward to hosting you and your
athletes, therefore do not hesitate to contact us if you have any specific needs and questions.

Location: Ansin Sports Complex – Miramar City, Florida
Competition Divisions: Open Division (International Athletes from NACAC & CONSUDATLE
National Federations, University Students-Athletes and High-
Performance Club Athletes.
Rules of the Competition: World Athletics Competition and Technical Rules.
Local Transportation: The City of Miramar, Fl will provide local transportation to all invited
international athletes, to and from the airport, to and from the hotel
and to and from competition site with previous arrangement with the
Organizing Committee. You must let us know your arrival and departure
itinerary. Arrival and departure information must be sent to Tony

Facilities: The Ansin Sports Complex 5,000+ Seating Capacity, 8-Lane Oval/ 9-
Lane Straightaway, 400m Standard Track, Discus and Hammer Throw
(combined), FTX Mondo Surface, High Jump, WA (World Athletics)
Certified, Javelin Throw, Shot Put, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Pole
Vault, Steeplechase, Warm-Up Area, Locker Rooms w/ male &
female showers, Concession Stand, Press Box
Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces at the facilities.
Medical Services: Paramedics will be on site for any emergency as well as an
ambulance.
Warm up: Preliminary warm-up will be done at the designated area outside the
stadium.
Trainers: Tents will be in designated areas by the Organizing Committee.
Call Room: There will be two call rooms for the flow of the athletes. Athletes must
check in at least an hour before their event at the Secretariat and call
room area. Athletes that do not comply with this rule will be scratch
from the event.
Page 4 of 8Weight in: All implements must be turn in and weighted in by the Technical
Director at least two (2) hours before the start of the throwing
event for proper certification of such implements.

Results: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, results will be posted in the
following web page: (to be determined)
Since we are running several events, heats against time it is a mandatory that you enter a
legitimate time for each competitor. Failing to do this means that your athlete will not be
accepted in the meeting.
Final Declarations: Final declarations and scratches in running events must be done at least an
hour before the start or as soon as possible. This is compulsory, and the coach or agent must
notify the Competition Secretariat.
Uniforms: Athletes must wear the official school or club uniform. Bib numbers will be issued to
all athletes and must be used by all the athletes in the front part of their jersey.
Awards: A T-shirt will be given to all participants.
