Lazy River Estate is now under new ownership and is a locally family owned
business. Located in the heart Central West NSW, offering breathtaking grounds
to hold your exclusive event on our picturesque estate. With magnificent view of
the banks of the Macquarie River over looking our manicured estate featuring
vineyards, sculptures, tranquility and capturing the essence of the Central West
with our rammed earth function centre. Leaving your guests with a memorable
and lasting impression. Specialising in all life celebrations, corporate occasions,
live entertainment, catering services & social events, located five minutes from
the centre of Dubbo is idyllic for our guests for the large exclusive access
offered.
With our recent extension to the function centre we can seat up to 160- 170 for
a formal dinner or 300 for a cocktail/ standup event. Our team is here and
ready to make your event a stand out, with our on-site chefs, commercial
kitchen, event planners and bar facilities. Making Lazy River Estate a unique one
stop venue.WAKES & FUNERAL
Lazy River is here for you in your difficult times – the passing of a loved one is
never easy so let our experienced Event Coordinators assist you in planning your
wake gathering.
Select one of our complete packages and your Event Coordinator will organise the
rest, leaving you with more precious time to say goodbye to a cherished one.
Our Wake Packs are flexibly designed for these difficult times. All include a
selection of sandwiches to ensure your guests have food available as soon as they
arrive, while we then prepare hot dishes.
While it is recommended to book and confirm numbers for any catering
requirements, we also understand that this is difficult to predict and as such can
provide additional catering on demand.
Please note that these packages require a minimum of 30 people. Having under the
minimum guest amount will incur a fee.
We can deliver catering to your home, community or church hall. Catering is
delivered on biodegradable platters and does not require any further preparation by
you.
Beverages are not included but please contact us if you would like a quote to
include tea, coffee and juice.
All internal Wake Packages also include Tea & Coffee.
Should you have any specific requests, just let us know and we will do our best to

Vineyard Villa is the perfect accommodation for a family getaway, romantic
night away or corporate stay - conveniently located 5 km's from the heart of
Dubbo.
Set within the grounds of Lazy River Estate, our luxury 2 bedroom villa
consists of 2 x queen beds upstairs including a 2-person stone bath located in
the main bathroom.

CONDITIONS
VENUE HIRE
> 1.1 A deposit fee of $250 is payable for corporate and/or private event room hire within
7 working days of making a booking.
> A deposit fee of $1500 is payable within 7 working days of making a booking to hold the
date for exclusive use of the function centre for weddings or major events.
> Hire of the estate grounds, including hippo beach, ceremony area and vineyards will
incur a fee of $500. This will be added to the invoice amount for wedding packages.
> By paying the deposit you are accepting & agreeing to all the terms & conditions
outlined in this package.
> Lazy River Estate reserves all rights to cancel a tentative booking where no deposit has
been received within 7 working days of making the booking.
> All items belonging to the client must be removed from the venue at the conclusion of
the event, unless arranged prior.
GUEST NUMBERS
>An additional $250 fee will be charged for events under the minimum number of guests
as outlined by the package selected.
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS & WEEKENDS
> Please note that a 15% surcharge applies for events held on public holidays.
INCLUSIONS
> Please note all prices include waitstaff and or bar staff.
> Prices do not include additional equipment for cooking, crockery, tablecloths, or
kitchen hire fees.
> Prices do not include additional event equipment such as the ‘LOVE’ sign, white
gladiator chairs or white Adirondack chairs.
PARKING
> Ample free parking available

> We have a wide range of canapes, entrees, mains & desserts to suit all events. The
configuration & style is wholly dependent on you. We can customise our menu to suit
your specific requirements & personal style.
> Menu’s to be finalised 4 weeks prior to your event.
> All menus are a guide & may vary with seasonal produce.
> We cater for guests’ special dietary requirements. Please advise the functions
coordinator 2 weeks prior to the event upon finalisation of guest numbers.
> We do not cater for trending dietary requirements.
BAR FACILITIES
> Our venue is fully licensed, we stock a wide range of white, red & sparkling wines, local &
imported beers & a wide selection of spirits. Cocktails are served within restricted times.
> A beverage menu can be selected packages
> Bar tab & service options are available; credit card details must be provided prior to the
commencement of the event.
> Our Function Coordinators can aid with budgeting & beverage selection for your
function. No beverage packages are available.
> No external alcohol is permitted on the grounds. All beverages are to be purchased
through the Function Centre.
> We strictly adhere to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
> Lazy River Estate reserves the right to refuse service to or ask guests to leave the
premises.
> The bar will close 30 minutes prior to the end of scheduled events. All guests must
vacate the venue by midnight.
ROOM CAPACITY
> Capacity varies for all packages. * Please note there are different configurations in
which the room can be set. Our Function Coordinators can aid to best accommodate your
guest numbers.

> Limited AV equipment can be supplied & set up at no additional cost. Contact the
function centre for full list of equipment.
> Wireless roaming microphone or microphone & lectern available at no additional
cost.
>Interior & exterior Bose sound system. (Please check that your device is
compatible prior to event).
> Please note, Lazy River Estate does not have an IT employee on site, therefore
unable to provide any technical support.
VALIDITY
> Prices quoted are valid for 30 days.
> Bookings for functions delayed, postponed, or booked more than six months in
advance could be subjected to price increases. Whilst we try to keep price
increases to a minimum, these will be in line with any increase in the cost of
produce.
RESPONSIBILITY
> Organisers are responsible for the cost of any damage sustained to the property
of Lazy River Estate or its chattels.
> Lazy River Estate does not accept any responsibility for damage to or loss of any
client's property that is left at the venue prior to, during or after the event.
FUNCTION DURATION
> Function durations are itemised in all packages and will be strictly adhered too;
additional fees can be charged if the event exceeds it duration.
> Availability of access is not guaranteed the day prior to an event. If the Function
Centre is available, you will be welcome to set your tables and room decorations
between 2pm and 5pm if a Functions Coordinator is available.
> If you’re hiring a decorator, please ensure that you check venue availability with
the Functions Coordinator prior to arranging a set up time. Your Functions
coordinator can also liaise with event providers.
PAYMENT
> Final numbers are required three weeks prior to an event and the invoice will be
generated on those numbers. Any reduction in numbers will still require the full
amount to be paid.
> Full payment is required 14 days prior for the event to proceed.
> Lazy River Estate accepts Direct debit, Cash or Credit card payment methods.
Credit card payments will incur a 1.5% merchant fee.

> All deposits taken for room hire and/or date securement are non-refundable.
> Date changes are permitted ‘once’ with no penalty for up to 4 months prior to an
event.
> Changes within 4 months will forfeit the deposit and must pay a new deposit to
secure a new date.
> All event cancellations within two weeks of events will forfeit 50% of the total
invoice amount, plus the room hire deposit.
> Refunds will not apply in the event of a change of numbers after an invoice has
been paid.
