YOUR SPECIAL DAY AT
WALLAROO
Wallaroo Estate is an idyllic location for your wedding, offering complete privacy and absolute flexibility
for your special day. When you book your wedding at Wallaroo, you and your guests gain exclusive access
to the Wallaroo Estate and can design your day however you like. Every wedding is bespoke; no formulas,
time slots or restrictions. We offer you a blank canvas (with some ‘bits’ thrown in).

You can stay on site with family and friends. Most of our clients book the homestead for three to four days to allow
time for set-up, the special day, and to relax with friends and family after the event. You can decorate and style your
wedding to your own taste.

Our Georgian-style homestead with 5 Queen bedrooms caters for 10 guests, and our minimum venue hire charge
also includes free camping in our grounds for any adventurous wedding-goers (as long as they bring their own
gear!).

Your Ceremony, Photographs and Reception all in one place
Our newlyweds typically have their ceremony on our oval front lawn, with Edna Walling style rock wall and
view of the Brindabella’s with our gazebos in a ‘garden party’ style event. Or you can hire a marquee if you
require a sit-down meal – usually set up at the rear of the homestead.

You’re welcome to have your photographs anywhere on the estate whilst your guests enjoy our premium
Wallaroo Wines made with grapes from our vineyard.

Venue Hire Charges
Your basic venue hire charge is in addition to the cost of bridal accommodation and includes exclusive use of
the grounds on the day of your wedding. These charges cover your basic ceremony set-up, including:

• 4 white gazebos (3 x 4.5m, 1 x 3m)
• 10 tables (1.5m length), with white tablecloths
• 4 wine barrel stands with stools
• 2 half wine barrel coffee tables
• 100 white chairs (for over 100, extra hire charges apply)
• Glassware for 60 (more may be available at point of enquiry)
• Blackboards for signage
• Large decorative wine coolers
• Lanterns and solar lights
• Fire pit
• Sound system
*we may have other items available at the time of your wedding

Accommodation
There are 5 Queen bedrooms, (sleeping 10 in total). Each bedroom has a beautiful view, either of the Brindabella
mountains, or our very own vineyard.

Drinks Packages
There’s no better place to get wine for your wedding than from
our estate grown wines. Our delicious award-winning wines
are available to you at a very special price.

All our drinks packages are tailor-made, depending on your
needs. However a typical drinks package looks like this:

• 2 glasses of Sparking White or Red (made in the traditional
  Champagne method)
• Half a bottle of still wine (any selection of: Riesling, Shiraz,
  Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab-Shiraz) per guest

Catering
A range of external caterers have catered our clients’ weddings in the past. External caterers may have access to water
and electricity at the venue, and are welcome to get in touch with us to discuss their needs to ensure you and your
guests can celebrate, relax and enjoy some delicious food.

Terms and Conditions
VENUE HIRE FEE

A deposit of $2000 will be required to book your dates. The remaining balance for the homestead accommodation
and the venue hire fee will be invoiced two months before the wedding.
The venue hire fee includes two visits to the property prior to your wedding to allow you to plan your day and
discuss your requirements with the venue.
Wallaroo Estate is a flexible and private wedding venue. You are hiring an exceptional property, homestead and our
garden for your wedding. Prices are firm for the venue fee which includes items listed above and labour for 3 hours
to help you set-up the facilities. If you need further labour to assist with set-up or set-down following the event, this
will be charged at an additional $30 per hour.
Facilities that we provide may change; an updated list can be provided to you closer to your wedding date.

Any extras such as marquees, catering, personalised decorations are at the client’s cost.

HOMESTEAD

The homestead is usually our home, so our ‘house rules’ (view on Home Away and Airbnb) apply. You can book
directly through us as part of your wedding package. Only house guests staying at the property should have access.

WINES

Wallaroo Estate is an award winning wine producer and we hope you will enjoy our Wallaroo Wines produced on
our property. Wine will be invoiced based on your drinks package, and final ‘pay for what you drink’ tally after the
event.
Beer and other alcohol can be brought onto the property, but any outside wine will incur a corkage charge. We
discount our wines heavily for our wedding parties.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges occur:

Wallaroo Estate reserves the right to cancel/ change the dates of your event only in exceptional circumstances and
with at least 8 months notice.
