                 A MESSAGE FROM OUR
                 PRESIDENT & PRINCIPAL

Earlier today, we gathered as a community to witness a
reenactment of the passion of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We were
able to actively participate in the Stations of the Cross every
step of the way through song, prayer and reflection. Campus
Ministry prompted us to search our hearts and learn what God
is calling us to keep in mind as we continue our journey
through Holy Week and approach Easter Sunday.

Thank you to all students and staff who made this experience
meaningful. For the next ten days we will keep all PMA families
in our prayers and we wish you a restful Easter vacation.

We would also like to remind you that Registration for 2022-
2023 school year is due today. Please use your parent login for
Schooladmin to view your checklist and complete the
enrollment process. Please email jbarba@piusmatthias.org or
mbarrera@piusmatthias.org. Missing today's deadline for
registration will not increase the registration fees.

                                       take place the
                                       first two weeks of
                                       May!

STAR Testing - All students in grades 9th-11th are taking Window #3
STAR Reading and Math tests. The STAR Reading test is scheduled
for April 27 and STAR Math Test is scheduled for May 5th during
assembly times. As you may know, we use Star Assessments to help
teachers understand what students know and are ready to learn.
Students take STAR tests once in the fall, winter, and spring. Students
in grades 12 will participate in a senior workshop.

THEATRE ARTS
     DIRECTOR   A huge thank you to all of our
                         community members that came
       Ms. Ibañez
                         out to support our Spring
                         Production of We Are Alive! Our
                         cast & crew had the opportunity to
                         perform and share their stories for
                         400+ audience members in the
                         span of 4 evenings. This
                         production concludes our 21-22
                         Theatre Season. We look forward
                         to getting back on the stage next
                         school year!
Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming summer theatre
program designed for middle/elementary school students
in our community!

                       This year’s Warrior Cup Golf
                       Tournament is scheduled for Friday,
                       June 17th.

      LIFE      Junior Ring Mass and Ceremony
      Mr. Ramos            The Junior Ring Ceremony will be
                           held on Friday, April 29, 2022
                           starting at 6:30pm at St. Raymond
                           Catholic Church, 12348, Paramount
                           Blvd., Downey CA. 90242.

                           This formal event is a right of
                           passage for our Junior class and
                           signifies their passage to upper
                           class Warriors as they prepare to
                           become the leading class of the
                           school.

 PMA Water Day!
 PMA water day take place on Friday, May 6 from 1:35pm -
 2:50pm
 PMA Water Day is a day of fun and activities to cap off
 teacher appreciation week with fun and games on the
 Baseball/Softball field. The schedule for the day will be Block
 B (4, 5, 6) Assembly with the games taking place during the
 assembly period. Water slides and games will be a part of the
 activities.
