An Agreement Amongst Friends

                 HOTEL POLICY FOR CANCELLATIONS OR REDUCTION IN NUMBERS
         Arguments between friends usually stem from a misunderstanding; therefore we find it useful
                 to have a form of contract in the unlikely event that a disagreement arises.

          As far as cancellations and reductions in numbers are concerned you will appreciate that the
                    hotel may lose substantial profits as a consequence. With your agreement,
                       we would suggest the situation is dealt with in the following way:

      Deposit Policy
      Deposit at time of booking    £1,000 (non-refundable)

      Six months PRIOR              75% of the estimated bill

      Two weeks before              Final balance of the estimated bill

      Extras bills                  payment is expected on departure

      Minimum numbers               Minimum of 80 day guests for summer Saturday weddings
                                    Minimum of 50 day guests for midweek weddings

      Final Numbers                 All charges will be made based on the maximum numbers given
                                    2 weeks prior to the event

      Cancellation Policy
      Cancellation more than 6 months prior 100% of the estimated total is refundable (except Deposit)

      Cancellation less than 6 months prior 100% of the estimated total is payable

WE RECOMMEND YOU PURCHASE WEDDING INSURANCE TO COVER ANY UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES.

On the day the hotel accepts no responsibility for gifts, cards, favours, wedding cake, keepsakes or any other
items brought into the hotel by you or your guests. We would suggest a member of the wedding party take re-
sponsibility for keeping these items safe.

All prices include V.A.T. at 20%.

In view of continual rising prices it may be necessary to increase some of our charges from time to time.
