The Modular Degree Structure – How does it work?
Modules can be combined in the three different types of degrees offered, as shown in the chart. For example, if you
are planning to complete a four-year Honors Bachelor Degree, you can do an Honors Specialization in Health Sciences
and a Major in Film Studies or a Major in Biochemistry and a Major in Mathematics. There are thousands of possible
combinations at Western!
1. An Honors Specialization Module is comprised of 9.0 or 3. A Major Module is comprised of 6.0–7.0 credits and is
