                                             Program Cancellation
The Tuscany Residents Association (TRA) greatly values your business! For this reason, we have designed our
cancellation policy to better suit the needs of our valued customers. No exceptions will be made to the policy
 outlined below. Please review carefully.

  1. TRA CANCELLATION DUE TO LOW ENROLLMENT

The TRA may need to cancel programs with insufficient registration or due to instructor availability. Should this
occur, participants may choose from the following options:
          A) Transfer to another program where space is still available.
          B) Receive an account credit on the household TRA account.
          C) Receive a cheque for the full amount of the program, which will be available for pick up within 2-4
                   weeks after the class cancellation.
Should a class be cancelled, you will be notified by phone or email no later than two days prior to the commence-
ment of the class and will be asked to select one of these three options at this time.

  2. WITHDRAWAL/TRANSFER REQUESTS
All program withdrawals/transfer requests must be made in writing to the Recreation Manager at
  recreation@tuscanyclub.ca

For your convenience and flexibility, a refund will be issued should the withdrawal request be sent 14 or more
days before the program start date in the form of account credit or cheque, less a $15 administration fee.

  • Requests to withdraw from a program less than 14 days prior to the first day of program will be charged a 25%
program fee and a $15 administration fee will apply.
  • After two classes into the program, refunds will be issued for medical reasons only and a doctor’s note may be
required. A pro-rated refund will be issued and the $15 administration fee will apply.
  • Refunds will not be issued to participants who are unable to attend rescheduled make-up classes for seasonal/
         outdoor programs.
  • Failure to attend a class does not cancel the enrollment and refunds will not be issued.
  • Refunds of $25 or less will only be credited to the household TRA account.
  • NSF cheques are subject to an additional $50 fee.

                                  Restrictions Exemption Program

Coming for a visit or attending a program? All residents aged 12+ must have their membership card to gain
access to any of the TRA indoor or outdoor facilities or sign out gym equipment and provide proof of
vaccination (QR code only), a valid negative PCR test within 72 hours of visit, or original medical exemption
proof. Your membership is automatically renewed when your annual fees are paid.

Don’t have a card? The Tuscany Club must see a copy of your certificate of title and ID showing proof of
residency in order to receive your permanent membership cards.

Want online access? Visit www.tuscany-connect.com and click on “SIGN ME UP!”. You will receive email
confirmation when your account is activated. You will need your 8-digit TRA# from your card. For

ments of the yoga poses and breathing techniques. Participants must bring all their own yoga props.

Holiday Restore to Nidra (Rachel Ann)
This unique combination of ancient practices will restore your nervous system, quiet the mind and give your immune system a boost. The
first 30 minutes will be a traditional restorative yoga practice where the body is held in supportive poses allowing you to find complete rest.
During the second portion of the practice, you will find a comfortable savasana and be guided through different relaxation techniques.
Stress hormone blockers are released to reduce pain, stress and anxiety. 20 minutes of deep relaxation (Yoga Nidra) is equivalent to 5 hours
of restful sleep. This is a very special class that needs to be experienced to truly recognize how beneficial it truly is. Please bring a bolster, 2
blocks, 2+ blankets, a pillow and a mat.

 Restorative Yoga (Rachel Ann)
This yoga class combines yoga with gentle movements that are designed for gentle movement to increase joint mobility, stress release and
therapeutic healing. Poses are held longer and props are used to support poses. Participants must bring all their own yoga props to each
class (bolster, blanket, 2x thick blocks, 1x thin blocks, strap, yoga mat, 2 tennis balls; eye bag optional).

movement to keep you fit and strong. All levels are welcome. Equipment will be provided but participants must bring a mat to each class.

 Yoga for Backs (Rachel Ann)
This Yoga for backs class will help you relieve strain and tension in the body by using long holds in therapeutic postures. Once your body has
released into the posture we integrate intelligent slow movement with the use of special props to activate/release the muscular and skeletal
systems. This results in harmonizing deeply rooted preference patterns to realign your spine and improve your overall well being. This class is
beneficial for everyone including beginners. All props will be provided. Participants need to bring their own mats to each class.

 Yoga Nidra (Holly Dalgleish)
Yoga Nidra or "yogic sleep"/sleeping yoga is the deepest state of meditation where one is simply lying down and with guidance enters the
state of a deep sleep with conscious awareness of that deep sleep. It is the state between being still awake but almost asleep. One can use it
to access the subconscious mind and enact changes from within. Yoga Nidra improves heart rate, a measure of balance in the autonomic
nervous system, reduces symptoms of high anxiety and stress. Studies show it is used to cope with PTSD. All you need is a mat, blanket and
anything that makes you feel comfortable to lie down on the floor (bolsters, pillow, etc).
 Zumba (Lynn Ann Goodings)
This fitness class combines dance and fitness moves. Inspired by Latin dance and music, it uses a variety of styles in its routines, including
Cumbia, Merengue, Salsa, Reggaeton, Mambo, Rumba, Flamenco, and a Hip Hop. Music selections include both fast and slow rhythms to
help tone and sculpt the body.
