RULES: WTF Single Elimination
SCORING: DAEDO GEN 2 & Electronic Head guard for all A Class Groups
except PEE WEE CATEGORIES – Pee Wee shall be played on
normal hogu.
EQUIPMENT: DAEDO PSS Hogu will be provided for A Class athletes. All A class
athletes must provide their own socks.
All athletes must provide their own standard non- electronic
body protection in the B Class Division
All players must wear the required protective equipment:
WTF recognised head-gear; WTF recognised body protector,
groin guard, shin guards, arm guards, hand gloves and a clear
or white mouth piece.
A list of companies which supply WTF-recognised protective
equipment can be found on the WTF website: www.wtf.org
All contestants will be required to proceed to the inspection
desk for officials to check their dobok and protective
equipment before entering the competition area. Any
contestant wearing unofficial equipment will not be
permitted to compete.
AWARDS: Awards will be presented to all tournament champions and
2nd and 3rd places.
Team trophies will also be presented for the overall team
winners.
ROUND TIMES: Adv Cadet, Junior & Senior - 3 x 1.30 minute rounds with 30
seconds rest. All other groups will be 3 x 1 minute rounds
with 30 second rest.
MEDICAL: Medical cover will be available on all courts . A paramedic
will be in attendance

Note: Juniors aged 17 may also compete in the Senior event in addition
to the Junior group. Also, veterans may compete in the senior
categories.
An additional entry and second entry fee should be submitted.
Classes: A & B classes
A Class: 2nd Kup (Red Belt) and above.
B Class: 9th Kup (Yellow Tag) to 3rd Kup (Red Tag)
WEIGH IN: Saturday 1st June 2019 6pm to 7pm – All Age Categories
Sunday 2nd June 2019 – 7.30-8.30am (PeeWee, Children & Cadets)
Sunday 2nd June 2019 – 8.45-9.45am (Juniors, Seniors & Veterans)
APPLICATIONS: All applications are to be made online at: www.ma-regonline.comPLEASE NOTE: We will allow changes in competitor weight groups should a
player fail the weigh-in (subject to an administration fee of
£15.00 payable at the time of the weigh in).
In addition, groups with single competitors will be combined
with adjoining weight groups to ensure that all players will
have the opportunity to compete.
Please note that the British TKD making weight policy will be
applied..COACHING & GENERAL
INFORMATION
BRITISH COACHES: One (1) coach will be accredited for every five (5) competitors
entered and granted free admission.
There can be a maximum of four (4) coaches per team.
The minimum age for a coach must be 18 years
Coaches will only be permitted at ringside in sportswear ALL
coaches must register in advance on www.ma-regonline.com
providing correct information.
On the deadline date the information entered will be passed to
British Taekwondo for completion of the audit.
Coaches who have entered incorrect information or who fail the
audit will not be allowed to coach.
PROTESTS: Only the Head Coach is allowed to protest to the Competition
Supervisory Board, immediately after the end of the contest in
question.
An amount of £50:00 will have to be paid for each protest
lodged.
The decision of the referee chairman is final.ELIGIBILITY: All competitors must have a current British Taekwondo
licence.
The correct M Number should be entered on-line at the time of
registering.
If a fictitious number is entered, the player will fail the audit
and no refund of fees will be paid.
All competitors should bring their licence book to
registration/weigh-in.
Coaches should ensure that all renewals are applied for in
plenty of time to ensure their players are cleared to compete.
CLOSING DATE: Friday 24th May 2019 - 9PM for submission of audits.
Please note all players sent through audit will require to be
paid for even if they withdraw.
REFEREES: International & National referees wishing to participate in this
event, please contact Chris Codling directly.

ENTRY PAYMENTS: Payment is required from teams within 14 days of being
entered into the event on line.
Players who fail the audit or withdraw after the deadline are

COST OF ENTRY: £35.00 All Classes
SPECTATORS FEES: Tickets are available on the door only - cash only.
Adults: £7.00 (16 year olds and older)
Children: £3:00 (15 years old and below – 4 and under
free)
PHOTOGRAPHY: By registering to compete at the event you are agreeing to
have your image taken whilst in the venue by both the press
and members of the public.
In addition, you are agreeing to have your image shown on
video, TV and online.
