For years the SSC Board results have been the benchmark of evaluating

Convener Dr. Yeshwant Waghmare ‐ Ex dean IIT Kanpur embrace the same dream
for genuine and worthy talent in the city of Pune. In 2004 he along with
Dr. Shantanu Deshpande
few of his IIT Colleagues tutored 26 students out of which 18 got into
M.D. Ignite Educon
Ex-AVP ZEE Interactive various IITs. Now he feels that its time to expand this activity and nurture
a bigger aim in reaching the best talent in every school of Pune.
YTS takes its roots from this dream...
Yeshwant talent search focuses on application of scientific knowledge
and understanding of elementary science.
We first articulate the 10th science Syllabus and revise the basic science
knowhow through a workshop followed by an authentic talent search
examination.
Based on this examination select the dependable talent and carry them
to their destined goals and that too with minimal required monetary
compensations.

How YTS works...
We have a pool of donors from every walks of life, who have been magnanimously and
anonymously contributing and thus financially supporting the cause. They have
trusted the advisory board and have full faith in their capacity to make this dream
come true. The advisory Board adds stupendous value to the cause with undaunted
support and actual participation in the scheme of operations.
The exact maneuvering of the scheme takes 5 broad Steps..
Step 1 : Attend, an one day Scientific Acumen Debriefing workshop : X
standard students from selected schools shall be invited to attend
this workshop. The aim of this workshop is to choose some chapters
from the 10th science Syllabus and revise the basic concepts with
experimental teaching. The core of this kind of teaching is drawn
from UNESCO and developed with specialist inputs from illustrious
scholars in the arena of science
Step 2 : Apply for Talent Search Examination : Applications for taking the Talent search
examination will be open for those who have attended the above workshop and few others
whom their school recommends. Applications shall be available in schools or online on
www.kaattest.com
Step 3 : Post test Counseling : After the results Top, 20% students shall be called for
individual counseling, where our expert counselor shall design a 2 years academic regimen
for achieving the student’s career goal. The design shall emphasis on competitive exams to be
taken in tandem with study support provided by YTS.
Step 4 : Selection and training : Only 60 students shall be selected out of the top 20% called
for Counseling. These students join our expert coaching for selected target exams like JEE‐
Advance, NEET, UCEED, NID & NATA. The tuition part of the 2 years coaching shall be
absolutely free. (Students only pay for study material)
Step 5 : Recompense scholarships : Those students who successfully and sincerely follow
the two years course and achieve seat in the coveted institutes like IITs, IISER, Govt. Medical,
NID‐Paldi, JJ school of Arts shall be refunded with the Study material cost they had borne
initially, hence, making the entire 2 years training FREE.How to participate in YTS ...
Eligibility : Students studying in 10th Standard, Maharashtra Board or CBSE in the
academic year 2018‐19 ( Giving 10th Board exam in March 2019)
Application : Individual, applicant can apply through two routes..
1) Apply through schools, where schools recommends your name and the application
forms are available with school Science teachers for Standard X.
2) Apply directly by logging in on www.kaattest.com (application open 20 Sep 2018) It is
suggested that before directly applying check with the schools if they are participating.

An articulated student workshop is been designed in which more
that 70‐80 science concepts based on X syllabus shall be discussed
with appropriate use of teaching aids and experimental

Due to limitation of seats, application received on or before 30th October 2018 shall
be considered and reviewed and Invitation shall be sent to selected 700+ students.
A nominal Fees of Rs. 350/- shall be applicable, for students not selected for workshop the fees is Non
refundable. however they can appear for YTS examination directly. Few applications received from schools are
under “school recommendations” and no fees shall be applicable to them.

E Post Workshop, YTS Exam shall be conducted in the month of December. All students attending
C workshop shall be directly eligible to take the talent exam. However addtional students who have

A Post YTS Exam 20% students shall be called for Counseling round in January 2019, where after
Counseling designing a 2 years academic program, 60 students shall be selected for Joining the Competitive
N exam coaching for JEE-Advance, NEET, NID or NATA. These Students for the next 2 years (XI
U & & XII) will be coached by experts from the coaching industry invited from Delhi, Kota and
A Admission Hyderabad. The Coaching shall be FREE without any tuition fee charged*.
