Every member of the Mustang family makes a powerful
impression. Starting with the most potent of them all – the
head-turning, heart-pounding, Shelby GT350.® This race-tuned
monster is powered by a 5.2L Ti-VCT V8 with a flat-plane crank,
engineered to propel you into the winner’s circle. A TREMEC®
TR-3160 6-speed manual transmission gives you ultimate
control over its 526 hp and 429 lb.-ft. of torque. The Shelby
exclusive interior features an aluminum instrument panel and
other unique touches including a steering wheel wrapped in
both Alcantara® and leather. RECARO® sport seats trimmed
in a unique mix of Carbon Weave cloth and Miko ® sueded
cloth help keep you in your place – turn after turn.
The most track-ready, street-legal Mustang ever produced –
the Shelby® GT350R Mustang – features the R Package, which
includes extremely durable, yet lightweight, 19" carbon-fiber
wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot® Sport Cup 2 tires backed
by the extra stopping power of 2-piece, cross-drilled brake
rotors paired with Brembo™ calipers.
Helping you stay glued to the track is no easy task. Rest
assured, our engineers scrutinized and refined every aspect
of the GT350 exterior in order to achieve its balance of
downforce and drag. From its aggressive front splitter to
its wide aluminum vented front fenders and unique vented
aluminum hood, all the way back to its rear spoiler,1 fascia
and integrated diffuser, every element is designed to work
together as a unified team.
A dynamic, adrenaline-fueled ride is yours courtesy of the
MagneRide™ Damping System.1 To adjust the continuously
controlled dampers, an electric current is passed through
hydraulic fluid that’s infused with iron particles, providing
ultra-quick responsiveness to changing conditions. Each corner
is adjusted independently – 1,000 times per second – for
optimum handling performance.

Our fastest and best-handling GT yet, this generation
packs a potent 435 horses1 and 400 lb.-ft. of torque 1
courtesy of its thoroughly modern 5.0L V8 engine. It also
pulls 0.98 lateral g 2 thanks in part to the integral-link,
fully independent rear suspension. With nearly 10 times
better anti-lift properties than the solid-axle setup it
replaced, this system provides significantly better pitch
control during hard acceleration and braking.
Get an even more aggressive look with the new
California Special3 GT Premium. Outside, the heat gets
turned up with unique Black front grilles featuring the tri-
bar Pony logo, a performance front air splitter, hood and
side stripes, a raised decklid spoiler, 19" Ebony Black-
