 To spread the awareness of Life safety, Security & Women Safety.
 To promote and advance the use of IoT in Integrated Building
  Management, Fire safety and security systems.
 To foster Fire safety and security in engineering Colleges and create
  career opportunities.
 To work jointly with Government in creating Highest Standard &
  Codes, writing regulations.
 Regulations to be made mandatory requirements that can apply to
  Buildings, Industries & Institutions

The Facts of Life Safety in India

1. As per NCRB’s latest report, every year, about 25,000 persons
   die due to fires and related causes.

2. 44 females and 22 males die every day in India due to fire

3. Crime against Women is also increasing with as many as 39
   cases reported every hour across India

4. India is ranked 136 as per Global Peace Index for Safety across
   all nations.

5. No comprehensive data is available in India on the financial
   losses suffered on account of fires. However, It is estimated
   estimate about INR. 10,000 crores are lost every year due to
   fire.

Skill Development Lab

1st Training Lab in Association with Bharati Vidyapeeth @ Pune
FSAI established State-of-art Fire, Safety, Security, Automation and IBMS Lab as a part of
promotional in joint Venture with Bharati Vidyapeeth. First of its kind LAB in India at
Bharati Vidyapeeth, Lavale Campus, Pune by the hands of Honorable Vishwajeet
Kadam (Secretary of Bharati Vidyapeeth) & FSAI National President Mr. Pankaj
Dharkar with various other dignitaries.

With this LAB in place, FSAI is promoting various OEMs together to create a pool of
skilled manpower to serve our industry.
