Group Picnic Information
CELEBRATING OUR 141ST ANNIVERSARY!
BENEFITS & COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES:
Event Coordination. We assist with planning from beginning to end, provide all activities & coordinate
everything on the day of your event. Our event coordinators will make all important announcements keeping
your event fun & on schedule.
Private use of the entire facility. Includes 15-acre shaded park, The Bauerhaus, private parking, children’s
playground area, sports fields & courts, customized activities & full concession stand.
Air-conditioned Dining Facilities. All meals are served inside The Bauerhaus so your guests have the option
at dining indoors or at a picnic table in the park. The facility is handicap accessible.
Deluxe Restroom Facilities. Air-conditioned, clean restroom facilities with indoor & outdoor access. Baby
changing station available.
Set-up & Clean-up by Bauerhaus Staff. You simply show up & have a great time! We even take out the trash
at the end of the day.
Public Address System & Background Music. Play your CD’s, favorite radio station, Pandora Station (Wi-Fi
available) or song list from personal device.
Sports/Activity Equipment Included. See page 5 for a full list.
RENTAL TERMS:
Park/Facility Rental Fee: Sunday thru Friday: $1,200. Saturday: $2,200.
Minimum Purchase Requirement: $1,500. Minimum includes lunch, drinks, concessions, activities. If minimum
is not met, the difference between the actual purchase & the minimum will be charged.
Picnic Times: Sunday thru Friday (any 6 hour period) or Saturday (9am - 3pm). All concession & bar services
will conclude 30 minutes prior to the scheduled closing time. Park must be clear 30 minutes after scheduled
ending time.
Deposit & Cancellation: Deposit is $1,000. If cancellation is necessary, 50% of the deposit will be refunded
when the facility is reserved by another party during your reserved timeframe or is nonrefundable if not
reserved. All cancellations must be in writing.
Food, Beverage & Activities: Selections confirmed (40) days prior to picnic date. The Bauerhaus provides all
food, beverages & activities. No carry-in permitted. Please inform all guests that anyone under 30 years of age
will be asked for identification in order to be served alcohol. No carry-in or carryout of alcoholic beverages
permitted per Indiana State Law. No coolers permitted on property.
Meal Guarantee: Final guest numbers are required (10) business days prior to picnic date. All charges are
based on the guaranteed number, or on actual attendance, whichever is greater.
Pricing: All prices are subject to 7% Indiana State Sales Tax. Food & drink prices subject to 1% Vanderburgh
County Food Tax. Prices subject to change without notification.
