Dear Belton Family Members:
The 2019 Belton Family Reunion is being hosted by the Charlotte, North Carolina Chapter. This
year’s reunion will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, Friday, August 2nd – Sunday, August
4th, 2019 at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Charlotte University Place, 131 East McCullough
Drive, Charlotte, NC 28262; (704) 549-8770. The room rates will be as follows: Standard Queen
Double ($94.99/night plus applicable taxes); King Suite ($100.99/night plus applicable taxes);
and King Jacuzzi ($112.99/night plus applicable taxes). Rooms receiving the discounted rate will
be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Reservations: Reservations must be made by July 1, 2019. Check-in is 3:00 PM. Friday, August
2nd and check-out is 12:00 Noon on Sunday, August 4th. Reservations should be made by
contacting the hotel reservations office at (704) 549-8770 and referencing the Belton Family
Reunion group block.
Enclosed you will find the registration form for the reunion. Please return this form to the
Financial Secretary by June 1, 2019. Please keep in mind, registration forms must be
postmarked five (5) days prior to any stated deadline. No registration forms will be accepted
after July 19, 2019 (no exceptions). No refunds will be issued unless extenuating circumstances
exist. These circumstances should be noted before the reunion.
Scholarships: The Scholarship Fund needs your continued financial support for providing aid
and encouragement to our youth. Please send your donations and applications for the Belton
Family Scholarship to our financial secretary, Shari Belton, 405 Berkeley Hill Dr., Apt. 1404,
Charlotte, NC 28262. The deadline for submitting your application is July 1, 2019. If you have
further questions about the application process, please go to the Belton Family Website at
www.mybeltonfamily.org and click on the tab “College Assist.”
Souvenir Booklet: Souvenir book advertising space is available. The cost is as follows:
• 1/4-page: $25.00
• 1/2-page: $50.00
• Full page: $100.00
Note: Color Advertisements will incur a $5.00 fee per ad. The deadline for
submitting advertisements is June 1, 2019.
Family Tree Template: We are attempting to restart genealogy workshops and are in need of
your help. Enclosed you will find a Family Tree template. Please complete this form, to the best
of your ability, and return along with your registration packet.

The Belton Family Reunion will be held August 2 - August 4, 2019, at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Charlotte University Place,

Reservations should be made by contacting the hotel’s reservations office. NOTE: Rooms may be guaranteed by credit card (mail
no cash) and notify the hotel you are with the BELTON FAMILY REUNION. The room rates are: $94.99 (Standard Queen); $100.99 (King
Suite); and $112.99 (King Jacuzzi) per night plus applicable taxes. Please make your reservations by July 1, 2019.
Registration - The costs for all members and guests participating in all functions are as follows: 0-2 years- free; 3-11 years - $40.00;
12 years and older - $80.00. For those who wish to participate in all events except eating functions, registration fees are: children 3-11 years -
$15.00; 12 years and older - $45.00. If you register by May 1, 2019, the “Early Bird” registration fee for adults (12 and older) will be $70.00
(a $10.00 discount).
Deadlines – “Early Bird” registration forms for adults are due by May 1, 2019. Registration forms are due by June 1, 2019.
Scholarship forms are due by July 1, 2019. Please be mindful, registration forms should be postmarked at least five (5) days prior to the
stated deadlines, outlined on the registration form, to ensure timely delivery. No registration forms will be accepted after July 19, 2019 (no
exceptions).
National Dues – National dues of $5.00 are already included in the registration fee. If you are not planning to register for the reunion
this year, but would like to help with the mailing expenses. You may send in your donation using this form, also giving us any change(s) you
may have in address, telephone number and e-mail.
